Taming with anything other then kibble is just a bad idea

I suggest you have a creature that can break the hive with ease sence bee drones will attack you if you attempt to destroy there hive you need bug repellent and best way to tame it is with rare flowers or raw prime meat also THE BUG REPELLENT IS NECESSARY OTHERWISE IT WILL NOT EAT

Just tried to tame a bee and there was no prompt to tame i had rare flower and kibble and still no prompt are bees no longer tameable

Capped at level 5, make a lot of honey, used around 6 rare flowers, quite an easy tame with ghillie suit and a Rex to kill her drones. Got 6 of them make a lot of honey! I recommend taming with two people.

Find a hive with a rock under it, then take a rex and break open the hive. The queen will drop and have fun taming.

Can not take with raw or cooked mutton! Hard to feed due to her floating up and down in the air. Worth the aggravation to get the honey!

Always spawns at level one, but NEVER TAKE ONE KIBBLE. I once tried to tame one with only one kibble, and I was all the way across the map, so I had to use the dotame command, since I think I accidentally hit it,or hitting drones decreases progress.

Lead dinos in with its honey. Watch out for the drones though.

Hives have 5000 health, shoot them to break open. Queen is kbocked out inside. No clue how to get to her without getting stung to death.

You cannot transfer server with a hive in your inventory, cryo the bee and then transfer!

Tame - Pick up hive - Go to obelisk - Place hive - Demolish hive - Cryo bee - Transfer...

I had a titanasaur one shot the nest than I just bug repellent and honey boom honey farm

Will using the tent method for vultures work here?

When I tamed 1 with rare flowers I just got a tribe mate to kill the bees off me with a giga. (I think a rex would work just as well)

Get bronto and constantly smack the hive with bronto until broken jump off and walk slowly and try to avoid touching it. How i got 13 giant bee buds.

You can only feed the bee queen if her bees don't aggro on anything.

Genesis 2. Find beehives under rock bridges in Eden. Break hive with a Tek rifle. Fly up to Queen with kibble. Bring lots of health brew. Bug repellent doesnt work. Tek rifles and element can be picked up in drops. Easier with another player.

It does not take that little kibble use rare flowers if you are taming basic kibble does not work.

I am on lost island on Xbox and finally found a hive but after hitting and destroying it no bees came out. Don’t know if they’re bugged or not but I’m playing single player. 46.8/58.2 were the cords of the hive

It’s extremely hard to tame so don’t bother trying to tame unless you have a op tribe

Get a relatively high attack Argentavis. Fly up to the hive and attack it then fly away and turn around and hit the bee's that come after you. Repeat until destroyed. Easy
