I make about 40-50 fishing poles (they're cheap) and fly around with an argy or wyv stealing honey from hives. Honey never goes bad in fishing poles and I take it out as needed. Then just fly away from the worker bees. Gilly is best if you have it.

Beehives can also be found on cliff faces outside the redwood biome, if your not looking to be mauled by a thylacoleo.

The honey is a must for fishing. It can be used for salmon, just like leech blood. I used it as bait for an hour and noticed that fish bite more frequently. In a pool with coel and salmon, I noticed that the salmon bit more frequently than the coels while using honey as bait.

Why is it impossible to find a giant bee inside the hive?

You can transfer to other servers if you cryopod it BEFORE you "obtain" it as a Bee Hive, you can cryopod it and transfer it, just obtain the hive once you throw out the Queen Bee.

C4 the hive. Then you only need to deal with one swarm of easily killable drones, and then taming the queen is simple. Just watch out for the drones she spawns.

To make honey last practically forever, make a fishing rod and equip honey, that is about to spoil, to the fishing rod, then un-equip it. It should refresh the spoil timer. Does not work with leech blood. Tested on PS4.

The giant worker bees on crystal isles are neutral, even if you walk into the hive. But if you hit anything... BEWARE!

Don't waste any anno. Simple whistle attack target for your argi and let the bird do the Job. Stay away until the hive is broken the follow the queen with flowers, ghillie and bug repl.

Honey the bee creates expires quickly. (even in a fridge.)

You can actually (attach) the honey to a fishing rod and remove at anytime. This will prevent the honey from ever expiring! Good way to store it as fishing rods are so cheap to make!

Something I see way too often even with veterans is that if a hive doesn’t spawn mini bees THERE IS NO QUEEN don’t waste time run near hives and if physical bees pop out there is a queen it will also make a loud ass sound btw. Remeber ghille will work with no repellant but repellant makes life easier

keep some rare flowers in the hive after they are tamed, they'll consume it very slowly, but it heals the hive.

the level of the smaller bees is the same level as the queen bee. so you can just attack it then check the level of the small bees so you know what level the queen bee is and you don’t have to break the hive/nest thing

If you have a megachaleon they’ll produce rare flowers and the bees eat rare flowers and the bees will produce honey
