Find hives on cliff faces, rocky outcrops, or in redwood areas, and approach crouched while wearing camouflage and using insect repellent if available. Burn the hive and worker bees with a flamethrower or flame arrows, then approach the exposed queen and feed her while avoiding the swarm. Retreat quickly after taking honey or destroying the hive, as the bees can knock you from your mount and overwhelm you.
