If your a noob these are your worst nightmare so run as fast as you can from hives. If your decent , you can tackle this with flamethrowers, cannonballs, or even using a flying Dino and picking the hive up and dropping it works. If your a god use a diplodocus and knock it off a cliff

Why is there Male queen bees,ark!!! Fix this now!

Is anyone else able to find these? When I go to the redwoods to find them, all I find are queen bees flying around randomly, but there not tamable.

Having a queen bee is quite rewarding and somewhat helpful. It does, however, have a difficult taming process. Otherwise, having it will provide you with a beehive and honey. Also provides motivation to some who are in desperate times.

Stings will knock you off your mount and stun it. Can kill your tame quickly, so attack with caution. Bee corpses cannot be harvested.

On Crystal isles there is a cave full of worker bees and bears in the redwoods (They were passive when I went into the cave with my crystal Wyvern)

In lostsland I find some near waterfall between two rock and under long bridge with two holes lat 55 lon 45 some where there in that square of the map.

Very buggy on Valguero. Won’t take kibble from me and flowers only show up 1 out of every 3 bees I find

Wild drones will die after a short amount of time after spawning, if you have trouble with them while destroying a hive, just move far enough away so that they either stop spawning or die before they can reach you

Can’t find these on Ragnarok ANYWHERE!!!

For those looking for these on the Island:

I found two hives in the footpaw (starting area) entrance to the wilderness on the Island.

I have a problem cuz every time I’m hitting or destroying a hive there’s no bees to attack me and no queen to get out any suggestions? I’m playing on the island if matters

Escaping works well by just running for your life

I am unsure but i have been finding them here in south zone definitely didn’t get spawned killed 🫡

I Thought that the beehive was a egg so I hit and the next thing I know I was killed by a giant bee up if this happened to you

I was playing on scorched earth when I was trying to mass produce kibble i when to the only area where they spawned and broke the bee hive and nothing tried it again nothin.the queens didn’t show up and I had grinded for a while and was pumped to tame a bee. Then once I slayed the alpha manticore I moved on to abberation and tried the bee hive thing ( I lived in the fallen nexus area right next to fertile lake ) but alas nothing showed. Pls fix this! Up so ark can see ( playing on x box )

A good wall-clinger with high melee can bust open a live hive without spawning too many bees and can clear out dead hives in the redwoods to promote spawning of live ones.

If no ghillie armor is available, taming a direbear will do just fine! There are usually a lot of intermediate level-high level bears outside of the swamp near the redwoods!

If your are struggling with rare flowers just find low lvl therizeno do reg tame not starve unless u got kibble. then go to swamp they gather insane amounts of flowers and fiber there. Use as lawnmower run and harvest hope this helps

These hives can also be found on cliffs other than the redwood trees. This can be helpful if you don't want to get mauled by a carno, or a pair of dire bears.
