Always spawns at level one, but NEVER TAKE ONE KIBBLE. I once tried to tame one with only one kibble, and I was all the way across the map, so I had to use the dotame command, since I think I accidentally hit it,or hitting drones decreases progress.

Hives have 5000 health, shoot them to break open. Queen is kbocked out inside. No clue how to get to her without getting stung to death.

You cannot transfer server with a hive in your inventory, cryo the bee and then transfer!

Tame - Pick up hive - Go to obelisk - Place hive - Demolish hive - Cryo bee - Transfer...

When I tamed 1 with rare flowers I just got a tribe mate to kill the bees off me with a giga. (I think a rex would work just as well)

Get bronto and constantly smack the hive with bronto until broken jump off and walk slowly and try to avoid touching it. How i got 13 giant bee buds.

You can only feed the bee queen if her bees don't aggro on anything.

Full ghillie will protect you from accessing a tame hive. When taming combine with bug spray. Suggest also crouching, appears to help avoid agro. If you find your not doing damage switch to melee. Ranged did not work on our server.

It does not take that little kibble use rare flowers if you are taming basic kibble does not work.

Wild hives on stones are best harvested by an ankylosaurus. The Dino collects the honey and keeps it from spoiling very quickly. Most of the time no stones are stirred up at all. Up for visibility.

Genesis 2. Find beehives under rock bridges in Eden. Break hive with a Tek rifle. Fly up to Queen with kibble. Bring lots of health brew. Bug repellent doesnt work. Tek rifles and element can be picked up in drops. Easier with another player.

It’s extremely hard to tame so don’t bother trying to tame unless you have a op tribe

No need for any bug repellant just tamed one with just ghille

I used dull ghillie and bug repellant. Fed queen flower and hung back hitting drones with spear while my monkey three poop. Tamed in less than 5 minutes.

After destroying the hive from range. Build a platform up to the queen. Build a 1x1 box with you inside. Have a door facing the queen. Feed and duck back inside until she is hungry again.

After being tamed they will slowly lose health when not in a hive regardless of food bar. Don't leave them hovering or you will sadly lose all that hard work to get one!
