Taming & KO Tips
How do I tame a gacha? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a gacha.
Quetz can lift it unless you use a platform saddle with sunken foundations. Gacha got a pretty big hitbox
Just drain the owls stamina multiple times to drop pellet when it eats
When breeding tame use rare flowers for large food gains inside of baby easier than stone, berries, so on!! Up arrow!
Listen I know it’s a pain in the butt, but make stone arrows. It takes them just a hair quicker.
All that I'm going to say is...
Do NOT TRY AND TAME ON GEN2
It is honestly so painful + dangerous
I highly recommend you see how many walls you need to take this before you give it any, so that way you can take it first try. If you take multiple trips then it’s percentage will decrease. Also if you can’t hold all the walls it takes then out then in a storage chest near where the Gacha is. This saves a lot of stress because you can take your time making the walls without worrying about the percentage lowering.
Gacha have no intervals for taming. They need to constantly eat. Their technical interval is maybe 5 seconds while it is chewing. The second it stops eating it starts to drop tame. Have another stack on the ground waiting for it before it is done eating. I am going to set up storage boxes next to the taming area to stock before I start my tame given I ported to Asgard and don’t have the Dino storage capacity available.
Use metal billboards to hold it in place to avoid wandering and taming loss.
I have also read online to try stacks of 20 and not 10. I have not tested this, so don’t take the stacks of 20 as fact. But thought I would include it so you can test for yourself.
You need more than 160 stone walls for a 130, it comes out under 100%, just fyi. Hope these saves someone the time it didnt for me thanks to dododex
When rasing I found fiber works great, as it stacks to 300. So it has more to chew threw. Be aware it eats so much food.
I gave a lvl 45 a stone wall, taming went to about 1% and dropped to 0.5. So i gave it 19 more in a stack and taming went up to 33%. I was then out of options and started farming with primitive tools, couldnt keep up with him. Trying war maps next. Give a like pls, so that they update and remove stone structure
Rocks are the best for ha ha just drop a couple of stacks of stone and it’s yours. thumbs up for others to now
This is a passive live time If your targeting for certain rare items like organic polymer(if you never crack the crystal the organic polymer will not spoil) or are looking for black pearls or even ele gachas just find a spawn with a lot of them and wait for all the crystals to spawn and drop once dropped you can grab them and crack them and will get certain things , those things you get are on that production list(remember to look at the crystal to see the gachas level so you know which one to tame (this method only takes roughly 6-7 minutes and saves on waisting your mining drill and gasoline , do not drop items to tame it when it is sitting down it will bug the gacha and cause it to move in wide circles after it eats 1 thing each time
Atleast in top 5 but usually top 3 for everything it gathers, it also gives you useful crystals when fed so it is a needed tame if you play extiniction
Feed it firearms to tame with high efficiency
Just tame a 145 on official (x1), with 160 stone foundation and he finish 208 (+63 bonus level
Snow Owl Pellets seem to give higher taming efficiency than Tek structures. I get about 89% on pellets vs 70% on tek structures (using tek walls)
Be prepared to have them walk around in circles and drop some of their tame percent. Bring more mats than it says.
Flying owl + stimberrys = all the pellets u need
Gatchas arr no longer able to be picked up by wyverns.
Use owl pellets, if you dont have an owl just use stone it works really well.
