Taming & KO Tips
How do I tame a gacha? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a gacha.
Does not instant tame on insta-tame servers, fyi.
Y traps are the same as tek to a gacha.
War Maps seem to work well also
toss all resources down. This will allow the gacha to eat in one sitting do 2 extra stacks just in case and it should tame in no time :)
Just so everyone knows, the calc is wrong. I brought a hundred greenhouse walls, split them into stacks of 10, fed it to a 150 gacha in hopes of getting one that drops element, and it only got to 98% taming. I couldn't gather stone to finish it either bc the walls over encumbered me as it is. Everyone bring extra. I wanna cry...
WHERE IN THE WORLD DO YOU FIND THIS THING
with 400 war maps u can tame every level gacha
Here's how you can easily tame one in a cheap and fast way if you don't care about taming efficiency: first tame a doedicurus. Then find a gacha and gather, with the doedicirus, all the nearby rocks you find. Disable auto harvesting (you don't want it hitting your gacha by mistake while it tries to farm more stone.) and set it to follow you. Transfer one stack from the doed's inventory to yours (100 stone), and then drop it. Transfer another stack right away. Once it starts eating (and the dropped stack disappears.), drop another one. Repeat it until tamed.
Craft plenty of stone picks before taming to get a taming effectiveness better than just stone
Feed a level 100 or above about 1000 stone, and boom, you have a Gacha
If you a beginner... harvest materials and drop them near it or you can use structures or tools for dat.
Feed them metal structures it’s the best
Your numbers are way off 150 took my 250 wood walls. 50% please check your numbers
Just mine a bunch of stone from nearby rocks and then split to as close as possible (not under) to ten and then drop all of the stone on the gacha, repeat and u have urself a gacha!
Put the baby gacha outside your trough range, drop tons and tons of berries, like 10k weight should be enough (arround 3 trips with good bronto) and you can leave it for couple of days :) just in case you can check it once per day/two. Cause troughs will last only for couple of hours, that way it lasts for days.
*if you ever have ele baby gachas and only ele babies stop eating, cryo them and throw them back out* then feed mushrooms only. Had mine next to the mom too just incase
These things take ages to tame. Do you have a better way than dropping pebbles in front of the Gacha???
Cloth hats!!! They work really well, and are super easy to make.
Tame it by dropping lots of stuff in front of it rocks work the best. Got us a 145!! Happy taming
Best way to tame a gacha is owl pellet. I tried structures and it was way off from being tamed according to dodorex. What I would do is get a bunch of snow owl (I have 5 surrounding a pair of gachas) and play a normal day on ark. At the end of the day just before you get off, check on your gacha. I have done this and made 200+ pellets in a few hours of playing and if you don't have a gacha and would like to tame 1 get a tame of yours with alot of weight (best an argy) and collect stone. Give the gacha 100 in a stack and feed all of it. The gacha will spend its time eating just 1 stack of 100 stones before moving to the next stack. It can also give you time to run and grab more stone if needed and don't bother about tame efficiency going down to its minimum. I tames a level 145 gacha with stone and before it hit 100% its tame efficiency was at 10% (6 levels) but at the end it gave me 40 levels once tame. Up this post if this tip was very helpful for you.
