Easiest few ways I found is to either trap it and drag creatures to it after killing them or tame a few ovis’ and feed them to it I would recommend going for a lower level hawk like a 15 or 20 and then try and get a breeding pair this Is probably one of the most aggravating creatures to tame just because it loses its taming percentage when it gets hit that’s why it’s so hard to tame in the open. Another quick tip is to use a sanguine elixir made from a desmodus when it gets to 70%.

If u have one following you, kill something then have it swoop down to eat, then kill it. As far as I have found that’s the only way besides hitting it with a Andrew. U don’t want one to be following you cuz it will kidnap ur stuff if u die….

What level tame io it creature

I would just say get a level 50 or so Rex and kill a couple of brontos and get off your Rex

so that the fjordhawks taming bar goes up

Don't feed them dodos. It only goes up by 0.3 or 0.2 percent from my experience.

The best solution I can find is use Dino’s to kill and it has to be Dino’s that don’t harvest bodies attempting to ride and kill results no taming if You are riding a Dino while it eats

You can use wyvs to kill stuff to feed the hawk

Use a rock golem because they can’t harvest it and you can tame as many as you want

They should make this be on some islands and not just be on Fjordur

These things are super easy to tame when you know how to do it, all you got to do is go into settings turn up harvest amount all the way, and turn down dino harvest damage, and then kill almost anything and it will almost automatically tame. I know it is a bit cheesy go into the settings like that, but these things are basically impossible to tame otherwise, especially in early game.

If you are on a modded server, one with the additional dinosaur mod specifically. Kill a brachiosaurus and let the hawk eat it should tame out, might need two if not on a 2X server.
