I’d knock it out, bring a bunch of corpses over and wait for it to wake up and devour the corpses. I’m on mobile and have no idea how to get here (if I can) but I’ll be on PC soon so I can test this out!

Does anyone else think that it is dumb that they have a option to upgrade their attack power but they are not able to attack

Eats dead things you or your tame kills, I suggest a Rex or 2 that didn't get the melee mutation just feed them to it and seems to be most effective.

Get a dead allo if you want to take quickly

This dino eats dead bodies that you have killed and they pick up your stuff and give it to you when it is tamed if it wild it pick up your stuf that's so annoying

You can bring tames you don’t want to an area with hawks unclaim them and then kill them to feed them to hawks.

Health matters of the creature you are feeding fjordhawk buy the levels do not. I'd advise taming high lvl ovis then breeding them to try n get the best health you can, then lvl them up as much as you can into health before using them. Also good to lure the hawk you wanna tame away from any others as they will eat the dead ovis too and slow down taming for the hawk u wanna tame.

Tame it with ovis, also work with tamed ones - kill it. It gives a lot more % than wyvern.. i build a trap to catch one (because otherwise some other hawks also come to eat)

Seems like it tames faster if you're holding/dragging the bodies you bring it.

Using a rock golem is the best way to tame, if you want go get a low level and then kill it and feed to hawk

These guys are a pain in the butt to tame! If you don’t have fur, your going to freeze, like full on.

But it is worth it if you have a giga cryopod on u and u die.

It seems as if dragging and holding the carcass that you’re feeding to the fjordhawk makes the taming progress faster. Let me know if this happens to anyone else too

ITS TAMING IS ACTUALLY BASED ON THE TYPE OF MEAT THE CREATURE PRODUCES!! so the Ovis would be the best because it gives mutton where as brontos and paracers only give prime meat

The most I've gotten out of one ovis was a 150 tame is 20% per ovis put over 40 points in health so I believe there is a set point in actual overall health that determines this

I've notice the taming efficiency per ovis verys on the amount of overall health the tame has so if you tame ovis to kill put all points in the health then kill doent matter if it full health or not

3x Ovis each level 120+ Tamed a Fjordhawk level 50. However during an event. Tamed Ovis is by far the best way to tame them.

Mammoths worked best for me. Kill it with a tame then drag it up to it. Be careful not to hit the hawk during this. Use senguine elixir

10 bronto and 1 phioma tamed me a lvl 15 on x2, just anoying to get them on there own.

For a 150 ish level fjordhawk you need to kill 20 ovis

You can't be on your tame when it's feeding for it to count, i spent hours trying to figure out why they weren't showing in the taming tracker....
