I've notice the taming efficiency per ovis verys on the amount of overall health the tame has so if you tame ovis to kill put all points in the health then kill doent matter if it full health or not

3x Ovis each level 120+ Tamed a Fjordhawk level 50. However during an event. Tamed Ovis is by far the best way to tame them.

Mammoths worked best for me. Kill it with a tame then drag it up to it. Be careful not to hit the hawk during this. Use senguine elixir

If the Fjordhawk dies while carrying a bag, the bag will not drop and will instead completely disappear with no way to retrieve it. Found this out the hard way after losing all my games.

10 bronto and 1 phioma tamed me a lvl 15 on x2, just anoying to get them on there own.

For a 150 ish level fjordhawk you need to kill 20 ovis

You can't be on your tame when it's feeding for it to count, i spent hours trying to figure out why they weren't showing in the taming tracker....

Tame a sheep level everything into health kill infront of a hawk only 1 at a time, may need to bring more sheep's depending on level

Seems to ignore tames that I kill… this is on pve. I don’t understand these tips about killing a tamed ovis

In order for the tame to work, the dead animal MUST have been killed by you or your tame. If you don’t see the yellow text, it didn’t count and they won’t eat it. Saying this because I killed a golem with my thylas bleed attack, which does not credit me with the kill.

Turns simple beds into tek teleporters. Fast travel and it will teleport ur stuff to u at new bed. Also i think weight of bird is irrelevant so can slot cap with metal and teleport to new bed and bird will bring everything.

It will be a good animal in PVP and in PVE too. Because it caugh your things when you die and it take them to you.

When taming make sure there are enough dinosaurs around to tame it

You can use a dead rock golem to instantly tame one and since the body doesn’t decompose you can also use it to tame as many as you want

It is probably going to get like a tenth of ur inventory and be like that’s all of it here you go

Depending on how good it's weight and speed stat is, this could be really good for wyvern/Rockdrake/magmasaur eggs.

I think this would be a shoulder mount cause it will likely be small and it could get your stuff when you die and bring it to you. It may be useful in fights if it’s high level and in packs. It might Be used as a pet though. It could be bigger than I think though and may be rideable cause you never really know in ark-lava

I think these guys are basically vultures but with an upgrade.

It can locate injured targets and retrieve your item when you die etc.

Quite convenient, right?
