I noticed if you passive tame them the dont gain any levels when tamed

There’s a cave by a river where you can find these crazy meth monkeys and tame them day 1, all you gotta do is lure the bears out of the first little bit of the cave, at least the ones that are an immediate threat( the ones in the little middle area are stuck there as long as you’re a the point of it ) and either punch them out or ko them with a club, pass them a few mejos and you’ll be set, don’t recommend feeding them element right away as if you’re planning to use it, after 1 use you’ll need to feed it 2 element. Whereas if you ko it it’s 1 element twice then 2 element.

Knock them out and feed them plant y seed.

You can find the seeds in the ocean and harvest them with the big turtles.

You can ether passive tame them with 2 element but they’ll hulk out or if your just starting out knock it out and feed it berry’s

When playing on insta tame always bring 30 element it does not take 1! Updoot so people see

No matter what level it is at and no matter how boosted the server you are on is, the ferox always needs 20 element (5% a feed) no matter what level it is!

How to tame a Ferox: Tame it.

I find I feed it element do not get hit use wyv

Feed it element then jump on a wyv and use the wyvs knockback attack with it wings until it goes small again. Rinse and repeat until tamed...

Aparantly a ferox is an early game tame

How to tame: Step one, find a single and only SINGLE ferox, Step two: Feed element,Step three: knock out while its enraged, Step three, REPEAT AS MANY FING TIMES AS NEEDED! Boom u have your ferox. Easy as pie.

You can tame this fella while he’s little just like you would any cute fuzzy creature such as a jerboa, pop a tranq in its butt and feed it plant species Y seeds or crops and berries. Alternatively you can place element into your last item slot and use it near the ferox. However, this method can get rather messy and is not advisable. Save yourself the element and the fleeing for your life and just knock it out.
