They don't run away because they're addicted to element lol what they do is follow any player who has element in inventory and doing so they can get lost trying to follow you

To tame a Ferox I would recommend a tek suit. After you feed it an element, jet pack above it until it gets small again. Then repeat. (Don’t do this by tames as the Ferox could kill your tame or your tame could kill the Ferox.)

Someone how while taming one of these guys, i left to do challenges to get a bit more element, so i tracked where it was and somehow it duplicated, same color, level and it was even fed the same amount

Nobody has said this yet, the cannot climb up walls they can only jump to different walls.

When I was taking my Ferox I found that if it comes to you and rampages it will automatically tame to 33% or depending on your ferox level if I’m correct. So if you so happen to find one your taming and does this it saves you 1 element. This is on genesis so not sure about other maps. I don’t know if it just mine or what but keep this in mind when finding one or running into one
