There is a bug on the xbox that when ur playing on a non dedicated server and ur admin of the server u cant tame ferox or use element in any way.

Taming a 145 lvl ferox and you get 205 after taming it. Once you cryo the ferox and put him out again it seems that there’s no xp gain bar when it turn into a monster after feeding him element. Of all the kills you’ve done you get no xp for the ferox first fight. When this happens just be sure not to continue feeding him element. After the formation time is up and it gets back to its usual size, cryo it up again and let him out, you get back a 145 lvl ferox with its xp gain bar available. And that’s when you start to level up your ferox. Forget about taming bonuses when you’re trying to tame this little guy. I’m not sure if this is a kinda bug or what, but after all that happened that I’ve mention above, It’s safe to continue leveling up your ferox and have its next generations with better stats. Cheers

This is for the breeding section. The female ferox must be between 92% and 99% addiction and must be in small form to mate.male also must be in small form to mate. There weight is VERY low. It must be at least 7 hours into maturation to hold 60 Berry's. There is also a stop eating bug.it caused my first one to die as a juvenile standing by a Tek trough. I suggest using the Procoptadon method.

When you feed them element and they transform, they are bolable and they cannot do anything till they transform back

Put element in your feeding slot then feed the element to the creature have a another tame beside you and let the creature attack it and then repeat the cycle till it is Tamed

I just tamed a 150 and it took 20 element to tame. 5% per element

Doesn’t level up after taming now and takes more element, 130 took 19 pieces of ele. And isn’t boosted by 2x

It takes more than 3 element for a 130 ferox right now. I believe they are bugged right now and practically unable to be tamed

Gestation time is roughly 9 hours 54 minutes during 1x on official servers

It ain’t easy to get element so taming these little guys will be hard

Thier rocks ricochet like crazy and can go for insane distances. They are able to gain momentum very quickly. When you pain the small form the paint still sticks to the grown up version but more messy so you have to paint it a bit more which idk why you would, cryopods ruin the paint anyways

If you are taming these on gen 1, note that you can whack the red crystals in the volcano area to get element shards, which you can turn into element at a mission terminal at a 100:1 conversion.This process is infinitely more efficient with a mining drill.On gen 2, there is a certain stage where the space biome has asteroids where you can mine element and element shards.Once again, a mining drill will make it very efficient.
