Were do you find them in ark genesis part 2???

When it duplicates it also keeps taming progress

Bring a lot more element than it says or the tame might not complete

It's best if you feed it element and then when it's coo coo use harpoon net so it doesn't attack you

These take kinda long to spawn on console because I haven’t found one yet

When you feed it element, if you are in the cave, you can use a grapple and get to the top of the cave while the Ferox rages and then you can drop back down to keep feeding it!

There is literally a cave dedicated to these guys

To tame a ferox I recommend a bloodstalker. Then find one and feed it some element and wait for it to calm down while waiting on a tree or swinging around in a bloodstalker. Then once it’s calmed down go feed it more element, wash, rinse, repeat. Next I will be doing one of the following: astrodelphis, Maewing, noglin, tek stryder, voidwyrm

If you’re on gen 1 and you’re taming them in the “Finding Fro-Zone” mission cave then bring a shot gun with at least 400 ammo and stand above the ledge at the opening of the cave to kill the bears. Once you’ve killed all of the bears it’s really easy

The ferox is not a knockout tame

There primaries easy mid_game tames if you listen to these steps.

1.find Ferox and surround with benthom gates

2.sneak in and feed element

3.run out and repeat step 2 intill tamed

Go to the ferrox cave and bring a grappling hook and crossbow feed the element to the ferrox then grapple to the ceiling of the cave and wait until it turns small again rinse and repeat

To the person wondering where to find these on the lost island, I believe they spawn in the abberation/artifact cave in lost island, someone said it is at 26 lay and 54 longtitude, good luck! Take them out of the cave to tame though

Just have element in ur hot bar while looking for these guys, they’ll sense the element and come to u.

They get Big and strong when they go 2.0

Take note that the ones on Fjordur are technically cave creatures and aren't meant to be tamed. Because of this their stats tend to bug out often and they get a inventory bug where you can't move the items in their bigger form until they revert back to their small form. (So make sure to turn off harvesting) You can however find them spawn up to 300, which when tamed will go to 450, meaning you can get some very powerful ones without having to breed any generations, if you're feeling rather lazy.

Why does dex say this is “early game?” You need freaking element to tame it!!!!

Fact:

When taming it in its large form it will display the text ‘Survive...’

You can use it to steal magmasaur eggs and a high level one 90 and up can be better then a blood stalker if you need to get a large amount for tameing a basilisk. Watch out as it much faster then useing a blood stalker but much riskier I just steal 4 useing a level 140 and made it out just befor it transformed back p.s I stoal one from each nest ( some nests are really easy to steal from while the bigger ones are a lot harder to steal from)
