Step 1: If you want to breed. Check stats before you feed it anything.

Step 2: if you like the stats give it one element and check the stats while he has turned since the first transformation changes things.

Step 3: If you like the stats still knock it out with a arrow to the head and feed it 5-6 mejo berries.

Use club and knock out drop berries and it’s yours

The seed is bot a good food for them I tamed a 145 with y seed and had a 23%effect

You can tame them with about 1-2 trank arrows and 1-2 mejos

When Breeding they must be 100% addicted to Element, once completed continue giving them more to keep addiction though out mating.

You can mock them out and feed berries to tame it you don’t need element to tame.

DONT TRY TAMING WITH ELEMENT it doesn’t work ATM just knock it out as it’s baby form only takes 30 seconds for a high level

I’m on Xbox and I tried leveling it while in big form it wouldn’t let me and it also decreased my levels on it (tamed out at a lvl 194 and after transforming it it just went to lvl 134

2 element dos not tame all level of detox just had a 85 and put 3 in to it and didnt tame so others know

Element in last slot, use button as if you were to consume it whilst standing in front of small ferox, be warned once fed it will transform and go on a rage until it passes out once awake it will be ready to feed again. Continue until tamed.

Handsdown the best utility shoulderpet in endgame since it can keep you warm and can turn into raw power with some element. The perfect combo of creepy and cute, one of my fave dinos for sure!

Breeding tip - only the females need to be addicted to element. Once you have finished breeding, cryo the female which freezes the addiction and stops it going down :)

Dont transform them by mountains! They tend to get aniti-meshed destroyed. RIP frisky2times. Or really any uneven ground.

To the person in single player who’s ferox cave is glitched:

This is why you have to check all the spawns in creative mode, but this is a decently well known glitch that’s been here since gen 2 released, if you have access to steam or google, you can find a steam post with a fix that you have to copy and post. Sadly I don’t have a link, so google is your best bet.
