If you force tame the boss and ride it, your character gets massively bigger

The only way to tame these on the free dlc map are killing the bosses! Higher the boss, higher the level of your Fenrir!

You get cryopods containing fenrir after defeating the fenrir boss. Harder levels of the boss means higher level tames in cryopods

I think you tame it from beating the final boss as a cryopod and sadly it is not breedable :(

If they are awake type of taming put on GOOD armor just in case aggressive!

You can get one by beating the final boss on fjordur to do that you have beat beyla the bee boss steinbjorn the bear boss and hati and skoll, killing them gives you relics which you use to fight the next bosses the megapithicus, the brood mother, and the dragon killing those bosses gives you there heads you use the heads to fight the fenrir boss when you kill the fenrir boss you'll get mjolnir a skin for the tek sword that you need to be lvl 190 to use and a fenrir in a cryo pod if you beat fenrir on alpha you get a better fenrir then if you beat gamma,

The fenrir takes inventory acts as a refrigerator and if you do (LT on xbox) it does a bite attack which deals a decent bit of damage, and if you press (right joystick on xbox) it does a ice explosion that does area damage and makes spikes come out its body and gives it added defence, you are able to breed fenrir if you have a mating pair, and they get a pack boost if you have multiple.

Hi! I will explain how to defeat the Fenrirsúlfr! First things first, gather your trophy’s… however do be warned that I have found the fjordur “guardians” compared to the original ones, is basicaly take a original alpha boss and combine it with whatever difficulty and that’s your boss… same with damage, This proves to be a concern when you begin grinding for trophy’s, I strongly recommend imprinted megatheriums for the broodmother. A lot of t-Rex and a yuty for the megapithicus, and finnaly the dragon, this particular one is guaranteed to give you a tough time, I STRONGLY recommend bringing ranged weapons, as well as therizinos with decent saddles, because the dragon is no joke in this map… Now that you have all the trophy’s you need, you will be ready to fight the gamma/beta/alpha ETC Since this wolf does no additional damage to eithor herbivores or carnivores, I suggest bringing a lot of Rex’s, along with a Yuty, I find the X-Yutys (found in jotunheim In case you are wondering ;) ) to be the best ones in my opinion! Next bring medical brews, and a Tek canteen, Why? Because the boss fight happens in freezing tempatures, so you will have to have eithor fur armor, or a pet/warm Tek canteen, Now one things for certain, this boss isn’t as scary as it seems… the dragon is obviously able to outclass every boss in this map, not that the fenrir is not as powerfull as both shouldn’t be underestimated, but I consider the dragon as more of a threat, now back to the original topic! :D This battle is relatively simple, keep the wolf away from the cliff edge, if it falls it’s back to grinding :D Why? Simply due to the loot being claimed by the void! To avoid this simply get its aggro and lead it away. Another thing to be concerned about is it’s “frost breath” it will freeze and immobalize anything in radius, for about 10-18 seconds, it also has the ability to summon fenrirs to aid it, luckily for you they are just a nuisance! There’s also a way to verify it’s next attack, when it howls it summoned enemies, the frost breath is unpredictable, as well as the bite. Now that you have been guided through and hopefully beat the fenrir, you yourself will receive a fenrir! This creature is basicaly the boss, except, well way smaller! Same attacks, and as a added bonus can use iceicles as armor! But do be warned, this creature, does NOT take fall damage well I accidentally figured that out the hard way! Hopefully you don’t make the same mistake! (And thanks for the support! Tommarow I’m purchasing the dlc, to give Abberation and extinction tips!)

Ark two will come in around the start of 2023 because it got delayed from October to then. Dislike if I’m wrong so people see if I’m wrong but if I am right do the opposite of dislikeing. I’ll post everything I know about ark two on fenrir.

to tame fenrir, you need to kill fenrisúlfr(fjordur boss). if you killed the fenrisúlfr, then you'll get the cryopod. that is fenrir. also you can spawn fenrir in wild. wild fenrir tamed by knock out tame.

To tame you need to beat fenrirsuflr and it will give you a cryopod with a lvl 150 fenrir pretamed

You can get this boi by beating it’s big brother aka the new boss

U need to complete the boss of fjordur after that u will get a cryopoded fenrir

Since the boss has like to waves or forms whatever

U will get 2 of them

Fenrir can not be tamed, you must defeat the fenrir boss then it will give you a fenrir in a cryopod. To get higher level fenrir’s you must fight the final boss on harder difficulty’s. Tip, they cannot be breeded

To GET a fenrir you have to beat the FINAL boss on fjordur this creature cannot be tamed like any other creature. To fight the final boss you’ve gotta kill the world bosses, they will drop rune artifact/shards then you use those to fight the ISLANDS bosses Broodmother,Dragon, and Megapithicus on any difficulty then take their heads to one of the rune obelisks and that’s all you need. The boss is crazy difficult on alpha but gladly Fenrir will drop on any difficulty on the final boss just at different levels
