Information we know about the fenrir from the mod (Note this is the modded version so it might change on release):
The Fenrir spawns on the snow biome in Fjor
The fenrir has an ice armor buff that damages and freezes creatures around it, while the buff is activated all damage is reduced
The armor also activates whenever the fenrir is close to knock out of below 50% HP
More Fenrir Utility Tips
If you jump continuously on it, it gets faster like a thyla
Fenrir's inventory acts as a fridge.
Fun fact! If you place Fenrir by a direwolf, the direwolfs eyes turn all smokey icy like.
I am not sure if this is due to a glitch in my game, but karate chop the upwards voting system if you see this too.

Fenrir boost- all direwolfs in range take less damage and deal more damage-eye color change indicates this buff
The Fenrir refrigerator effect does not work on Primal Crystal.
Very useful for raising wyverns and drakes because fenrir's inventory acts like a preserving bin/fridge making the milk or venom last 2 days in its inventory
They are a mobile fridge. They make milk and venom last for 2 days in it's inventory
Only one person in the fight will get a cryo pod with a Fenrir in it once the boss dies, and the level depends on which difficulty fight you pick. (On official)

Fenrir close to direwolves cause the direwolves' eyes to glow, and gives them a buff which reduces incoming damage by ~12.5% and increases damage output by ~25%. This buff can stack with mate boost, pack bonus, howl, and yuti roar.
