The Equus is a skittish, fast, and stamina-efficient mount useful for scouting, carrying supplies, harvesting berries, and escaping danger. Tame it by sneaking up from behind with Rockarrot or preferred kibble, then feeding it while mounted whenever prompted; secure the area first to prevent interruptions or attacks. With a saddle, it functions as a mobile mortar and pestle, while its buck kick can inflict torpor and its lasso can drag smaller creatures or unconscious targets. Although its kick is powerful for taming and defense, the Equus remains vulnerable to predators and should be protected during encounters.
