To easy tame get a carrot farm wait for a bit take 100 carrots and jump on and feed it ezy tame

They have horrible health in my opinion they die super easily it’s insane. Half of the time they die and I don’t realize even if you have high level Dino’s with you when traveling with a equus. Also they are super hard to tame once when I was trying to tame a equus it ran all the way to the ocean jumped into the water and was devoured by sharks. Ps when taming I would suggest having 70 carrots with you just in case you probably won’t use all of them though.

Today I tamed an Equus. Lvl 435 on Ark mobile, in the wild, with 100% efficiency using soothing balm and Rockaroots (DO NOT MOUNT ON MOBILE, I will explain why later in the text) + 1 dilo kibble.

I got lvl 652 (+217 levels), and I must say - this is a great begginer>middle game mount. It's buck kick gives a lot of torphor (mine has 835% melee, up it to get even more torphor per hit), swipe up for a special attack (buck kick).

It can jump pretty high, doesn't take fall damage (Tested it above western southern cave, a.k.a - the lava cave - and it didn't take any damage with 145 armor saddle gotten from the pursuit).

So - why shouldn't you mount Equus while taming on Ark mobile?

1. It lowers efficiency. Taming using soothing balm doesn't work either, the effect gets lost.

6.4% per rockaroot unmounted, 2.4% mounted with efficiency falling by 20% each time.

2. You will need a LOT of rockaroots.

3. Soothing balm won't help in maintaining efficiency rate.

In conclusion, Equus are very hard to tame on mobile (if you want a perfect, high level tame like I wanted), but with patience and a lot of crouching behind its back to feed it, you will get an interesting mount that also acts like mortar and pestle.

Not sure about others but mine doesnt take fall damage, i jumped off of the volcano and it didnt do a thjng

Absolutely worth the trouble I recommend

If it’s a girl dye it pink or purple then dye it silver and name it pixie (that’s what I did)

If you find it hard to get carrots, get a trike mount it’s and attack jungle ferns

If u want fur Armor but can’t find the redwoods, kill some of these they drop pelt.

Pump speed stam and health for going out and taming things

I just spent an hour taming one, and im disappointed. Its not fast, the health is lower than my other tames, and while it can carry a good amount, id rather just use a flying mount for transport; theyre faster and aren’t confined to the ground, so you only need to worry about argies while flying.

Don’t listen to the arrow it shows you to find one once your there there’s no Equus I look everywhere it told me and no Equus

Worst option ever for taming on mobile. You need to get too close to it to feed, and it will get spooked and run far away if you or your mount get too close. Plus, when tamed, it's only good for knocking small animals, ascendant bow + tranq arrows are WAAAAAAY better. Low health, slow move speed... Don't waste your time. This guy should get a buff or something, cause it's completely useless, wild or tamed.

It glitches when it's at 80-90% it won't let you feed it rockarrot then you'll get kick off because you didn't feed it

I killed a Bronto near my house in South and two Equus and gallimius spawned instantly.

Hope I can tame that
