-DON'T TAME THIS DINO,NOT WORTH IT
Keep bringing new Dino's in but can fix the bugs the game already has ?
If you shoot them they die, when they die they get bloody.
FOR NEWBIES! :
Required materials:
Medium crop plot.
Taming method:
Everyone knows you have to sneak up on the equus with carrots in your hotbar and ride it and feed it right? WRONG! Just sneak up and feed it but make sure not to touch it. This helps you tame your horsey faster while giving you an advantage by being able to protect it in the process.
Where is the best place to find them?
Hello! I'm a beginner at this game and I'm having trouble finding rockcarrots in my seed. What can I do? Thanks!
Can you knock them out with tranq arrows on MOBILE? Up for yes And down for no
Equus prefer to commit suicide then cooperate with the argy
even the unicorn refuse to cooperate.
Ok anyone know the best way to place to find a equus?
Eqeis are peaces of shit
And I hate them
Passive tames in ark in general are trash, they're not worth your time. How are you meant to tame a creature that runs immediately when you get close even when you're wearing ghille armor.
Taming on ASA. Grabbed it with an argentavis and dropped into a 2x2 taming box. Not sure why I had a hard time feeding it, standing straight in front of it was a no go. Standing slightly off to it’s side allowed me to feed it with ‘E’ then it gave me the option to ride with ‘E’ though the positioning was finicky. The taming tooltip appeared in the lower right hand corner for me while I was tame riding it. I was bucked off a lot until I found you’re supposed to press ‘E’ to feed it again AS SOON AS it kicks its rear legs. I had rockcarrot in my last hotbar slot the whole time.
Human: oh horsey! Ima approach it!
Equus: aaaa human! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Human: aw man it went away!
Wiki: you need to ride the equus and feed berry and emote when prompted to feed again
Human: oh now I get it! (Rides equus)
Game: Feed rockarrot to tame!
Game: wait until it’s hungry again!
So before you go to ride a wild equus; no they cannot be over encumbered, you’ll still be at the mercy of wherever this thing takes you. Much like hyenadons I suggest on most maps and areas to build a two room taming arena. The arena can be one wall high, with one room being vastly larger than the other. The small room is to help you sneak in and or keep them from escaping if you like to use double doors. Wear a ghillie suit and approach from the rear. Depending on settings and your stats if it kicks you off you may be passed out or completely fine. Leave the rendered area or wait a little distance away from the arena to reset aggro/ai state. Much like moschops and dire wolves you can ride with the need of a saddle.

You should get door frames and build around it as fast as you can then use a wooden club or tranq arrow
The thing lied to me it seys 5 and I had to use 10 uggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg
In survival ascended, I’ve found that the best way to tame these bad boys (or any other painful-to-tame passive tames) is to just find one with a baby, disappear it’s parents, and imprint on it. :)
Do not tame or else you will suffer grate pain for no good reason.
