Tame a scropion animals are not aggro on mobile toward you if you attack them or are riding by, but I would still try to steer clear of the bigger carnivores. You might as well get the lowest lev one since it doesn’t make a difference since theses things have unlimited stamina and then about 30 carrots, I tamed mine on level 1, and the quest gives you a saddle for free, so don’t get the enagram.-snail lover

Use track darts or get carrots and then trap them and then u can tame them also be sure you find one before getting carrots the carrots will decompose*up if this helps*

I got my first one at level 68. They always bucked me off even if I fed them dilo kibble and ran away so I trapped one in my work in progress creature pen and he could not run away! Now I have a equus and I named him “Took Too Long”

Not a tip but could someone tell me where they spawn. I recently lost all my progress (lvl 80)

Get some carrots. Ride it. Then tame it.

Pick it with an argy or anything bigger (yes argies can pick them up even though it says they cant) drop it in a taming pin and then mount it. Alot easier then running crazy

URGENT NOTE FOR SWITCH PLAYERS!!! As you tame your horse and are trying to tame it, remember that the dismount button AND the use button are BOTH mapped to the X button! When the equus is attempting to buck you off, only press the X button ONCE, any more will result in you voluntarily dismounting the horse! (It took me two days to figure this out and at least 5 dead horses ;-; )

Was kinda easy I built a pen (4 foundation + 8 door frames)

Used my argy to pick it up n dropped in pen I used rockcarrot in tame slot and boom I had one

Before you tame one of these you should get crops or carrots so you’re ready to tame it and so that you can get it on the first try

When taming do not dismount for any reason on ark mobile. I accidentally tapped dismount when taming my second equus and the taming affectedness dropped from 100% to 80%. Also was using rock carrots.

Ok so always wear a ghillie suit when taming!

Ride on its back, if it bucks u off, soothe it with a rockarrot

These are great tames, and great for knocking out other Dino's. I recommend to tame with bola. After you bola the Equus build a wall surrounding it with Dino gateways. Then once its trapped you can wait for it to stop running then feed to tame!

When on single player dont use the god console to speed it up unless you you have fast reactions or it will kick you off

I was in a beach when I easily tamed this without mounting it:

All you gotta do is bring about 2 dozens (around 25) of rockarrots enough to tame it then keep sneaking and feeding it AS LONG as you don’t make it run away

For ps4 players the button you push is triangle I don’t know if Im the only one but it took me 20min

I recommend making a decent sized closer off area before hand, make it so an argavantis can fit.

Get a wooly rhino, or any other forager. Find MANY rockcarrots. They want a variety of berries majoring rockcarrots.

Then search on an arg. It could take hours to find a single one. Pick it up and bring it to the closed area.

Put all the berries in your hot bar. It will make grabbing the berries easier. Click the saddle and start rapidly giving the required berry. Repeat many times.

if you are looking for a equus early use mejoberries but the best way to tame is with rockarots

For Xbox players, you have to press y to feed it, press y right after It to ride it. when you are on it press another time Y to feed it another time so it doesn't kick you off, it will not make you dismount it
