The Herd (Chapter: 1)

It was a peaceful day. Pteranodons were flying ahead, and fish would swim in the small river. A herd of Equus were coming toward the beachy area, stopping for a drink. A bright orange male, with brown spots looked around surveying the land. A female, with a grey coat, and light brown stripes lead the herd. The foals were packed tightly in the middle of the herd, with all the adult Equus getting ready to drink and eat. The bright orange male would neigh, giving the signal that they could rest. 'Jack 'O' Lantern. . .' Neighed the lead female. 'I don't think this is a good spot to rest. I smell a faint Spinosaurus's sent. ' The bright orange male looked up, listening to the lead female. 'We won't rest here, I'll lead the herd up to the peak where the iguanodons roam.' The female lowered her head to show she understood.

[Hours went by, and soon the next day came.]

The herd was getting ready to move, hoping that nothing would attack them during the trail. Females nudged the foals to make them wake up. Jack 'O' Lantern nudged Rein, the lead female to get up. Rein lead the herd across the river. The river lead to the ocean, and sometimes Megalodons would get washed up on that part. The foals had to get on their mothers and father's back. For, it was way too deep for any foal to cross. They soon made it up to the other side of the beach, going up the path. The herd soon made it to the peak, where a few big rocks were. An iguanodon walked by, not minding the herd. The herd decided to rest, laying down and sleeping. Rein's foal, Halloween, was nestled beside her. Jack O Lantern, lowered his guard and slept. There was some rustling in the bushes, as an eye appeared. Jack 'O' Lantern didn't catch this. A green raptor that blended in with the flora and fauna, was getting ready for night. Hours passed and then, it was night. The herd had moved a bit, and had played and grazed. Soon they all were sleeping. The raptor chose its prey; Halloween. Halloween was a tiny bit away from Rein. 'Easy prey...' The raptor thought. It snuck up to Halloween, and just as it was about to snatch the foal... BOOM! The ground shook as the raptor fell. Jack 'O' Lantern nearly stomped on the raptor. Surprised, the raptor quickly got up, and ran. Jack 'O' Lantern chased the raptor in am aggressive look. 'Wake up!!' Jack 'O' Lantern neighed. Rein woke up, confused but knowing there was an emergency. 'Halloween nearly got snatched.' Jack 'O' Lantern snorted. 'It isn't safe for our herd... Gather the members and secure the foals. We are heading closer to the Obelisk.' Jack 'O' Lantern knew this decision wasn't thought through, but he proceeded to find a route.

That's the end of Chapter 1! My Little spino story that ended with a Giganotosaurus in Redwoods is discontinued. I will let out a note when I'm ready to end the series, or I'll just put in in the title. Chapter 2 coming soon!.

I tamed one who became my chalk hills guide called Enzo (later changed to Ezra), one day we were out exploring once and he fell of a cliff next to a waterfall! I searched and searched even called out in real life but eventually at the bottom of the waterfall he was there in one piece. I took him home but later on another adventure he was killed by a raptor. Okay, I got a -8 so far when I said ABOLISH ABORTION I am NOT sorry! Do you know why they put so many negatives? Because they know it’s wrong, and they love murdering their baby. Ya’ll know gay pride is wrong too! It’s just gross. I was at camp one time, and I was friends with two people who supported gay! I didn’t find that out until camp ended. I was so disappointed. It’s so gross! Listen, it’s not hate when I say it’s wrong, but it’s the complete opposite of love when you don’t help the person that going down, it their sin. You think, that I am a hater, I am doing this because Christ says to live your neighbor, but he also says not to love them so that you “love” them to hell!!!!
