If your on mobile finish the kill megapirrana quest and use the tame helper that it gives you to tame it and it should take 4 rockkarrots for a level 20 thats how i did it and its way easier

Make sure you jump off of the equus after feeding it each time.

When trying to tame one don’t feed it twice in a row - it will buck you off, wait till it’s hungry again or if it’s stuck somewhere get off wait a few minutes then get back on - it should be hungry again

Here’s a tip just collect 20ambers from watching videos buy a chef station buy roach carrots from them but plz buy them after you see them after you get locate a small level eqqus then and then tame if you are playing on hard mode

I just feed carrots when they are hungry, takes about 5 or so. Just go up, feed and step back fast, watch from a distance until they are showing hunger then feed again until tamed.

Easy to tame now.

Help me plz I have a level 114 in a pin and I don’t know the fastest way to tame.

You grab it with an argy and throw it into a giant box. Mount it and feed carrots until done!

I found a unicorn name penny but clicked the wrong button and killed with the old master craft rifle.

Not sure how the interfaces look on pc or ps4 but on the xbox you dont see a prompt to feed it again. It'll start to buck around. That's when you jam carrots or kibble in its mouth.

For the mobile....

They're taming effectiveness decreases when you trying to tame same guy after getting dismount or knocked out by this. To make it 100% or maximum you have to unconscious him with trunks... Let him wake up than try it again sure it's 100% or maximum.

It happened with me when I tried to tame lvl 180 with rockarrot no bulm OMG it took me hours. Thank you

My technique:

1. Find one, pick it up, and put it in the taming pen

2. Put 4 dilo kibble or 100 rockarrots in your hot bar

3. Hop on and feed it when it starts kicking (once)

4. When it’s done enjoy.

P.s. I use balms because I don’t have the patience or time for long tame.

I tamed one level 220 and I could nock out a bronto with it it is SO GOOD

To tame it (on pc) press E when it bucks

Build taming pins on herbivore Island and drop them off with an argy not bad and definitely helps lost a few to the water

well i tamed a 200 equus i was saying sum like: im goona use it for movement and 2 raptor was about to to kill me i mount in my equus but they we're more speedy so they catch me and i defend...i KO the 2 raptors now i got ez raptors.

I have 3 equus.. they are very cute equus

Excellent tame on mobile for knocking out other creatures. They inflict loads of torpor when melee damage is high, you can shoot from their backs, and they’re fast enough to escape nearly anything on the map. For me, they’re an incredibly useful tame and one of my favorites...especially when imprinted.

After decades of feeding a level 3 equus 77 rockarrot i have my equus once and for all!

Hey everyone, I am going to tell you how I tamed a low level equus (lvl 11) on MOBILE

The first thing that I did was to gather some rockarotts collect at least 20!!! An easy way to collect rockarotts is to make a medium crop plot. ( it will give you a few hundred rockarotts if u keep it healthy). The second thing I did was to not click the quest “tame equus” because it will make the surroundings a lot harder to get to the equus. (I found my equus in the red woods). I know some of you are afraid to go into the red woods because of terror birds etc,.. but bring a flying mount (like a pteranodon) but fly it and when u find the equus, tell it to follow you. Make sure that your flying mount is strong; so when u feed the equus a rockarott and get on its back it can protect you if some carnivore comes along. While your on the equus, feed it rockarotts when it gets hungry. Lastly, go to your home on your flying mount and teleport the equus to you. If u don’t know how to do this here is how : go to the place where you want to teleport your animal then go to YOUR inventory and there should be a a tab that says “tames(and your number of tames)” click that button and it should show all of your tames. Next wait for the animal to spawn (it should take 1-2 minutes so be calm if it doesn’t come right away)

Then when you spawn you equus at your home click the quest “tame equus” then u should get a free equus saddle!
