Not sure how the interfaces look on pc or ps4 but on the xbox you dont see a prompt to feed it again. It'll start to buck around. That's when you jam carrots or kibble in its mouth.

For the mobile....

They're taming effectiveness decreases when you trying to tame same guy after getting dismount or knocked out by this. To make it 100% or maximum you have to unconscious him with trunks... Let him wake up than try it again sure it's 100% or maximum.

It happened with me when I tried to tame lvl 180 with rockarrot no bulm OMG it took me hours. Thank you

My technique:

1. Find one, pick it up, and put it in the taming pen

2. Put 4 dilo kibble or 100 rockarrots in your hot bar

3. Hop on and feed it when it starts kicking (once)

4. When it’s done enjoy.

P.s. I use balms because I don’t have the patience or time for long tame.

Found a pack of 4 equus on fars peak while taming a griffin, i needed meat so i killed 2 and saved the other two for a breeding pair i now have racing horses.

just grow rockarrots. I took about 100 from a large crop box and hopped on my flying mount to search for a high lvl one. it was easy leading it back as well considering it was only 3km away. leave the turtles in the past and keep a stock farm of crops and narcoberries.

If I'm correct they take dilo kibble if u play on mobile. Idk

They now take regular/blue kibble. Took 31 for a lvl 150 on 1x official server.

Pay attention to the right bottom corner once riding to know when you need to feed it a carrot! Makes taming a breeze once that's figured out.

I went to tame one and it took me forever to find. Then right when I found one a pego stole my kibble. Smh

If you have Argy, just pick it up and put it in a taming pen, I do t know if anyone has done this, but I tried it and even though my first rodeo (I regret nothing) was not so great and got very little effectiveness, I didn’t worry about it running into the jaws of an Allo.

The reason the taming effect I was was low as because it was literally my first time taming one, hence the pun. Use ghillie suit for better results.

There seems to be a bug with the Equus right now. The search indicator says there one nearby and it’s not like it’s invisible or something. Someone get them to fix this please!

When taming make saw to spam jump

The saddle can be used as Mortar and pesto and the horse itself can be used to knock out creatures

I've never had any luck with taming these.

I always end up using over 50 rockarrots and it takes about an hour.

What is everyone saying about hard to tame? I tamed a level 25 on rag with carrots for my first tame and it was easy!

THESE THINGS. i was so excited to start the " tame: equus " pursuit because i love horses and i wanted a prehistoric horse. THESE FREAKING THINGS. I CANNOT. I HAVEN'T EVEN TAMED IT YET CAUSE IT'S SO HARD. A THERINOSAUR, RAPTORS, AND CARNO'S ARE ALWAYS BY THESE THINGS I SWEAR. I HAVE LOST 3 OF MY BEST DINOS TRYING TO TAME AN EQUUS. long story short: annoying to tame.
