You always want to be east to find equus. I most commonly see them in the very southeastern corner of the map [The island] up on the big cliff where there’s grassland or around the rivers— and occasionally on the beach.

Threats you may face going east:

Spinos, carnos, pulmonoscorpius, Raptors, sarcos, dilo packs

(This is just from all personal expirience I’ve had searching for Equus on my singleplayer world, but I guarantee you will find some in said areas.)

Stuff this guy up with fibre and thatch (which are very easy to obtain) and craft all the lasso u can.. it will keep crafting and u can get a lot of exp..if u r playin on a mode which has normal xp gaining rate then u can get 1 exp for each lasso.. ALL U NEED IS 4 THATCH AND 6 FIBRE FOR EACH LASSO

I would usually find some in survival evolved. Over by the green obelisk by the swamp part of it. There would usually be 3. Bring something to protect you because I just picked it up with a argent and take it some where safe. The next spot is by the redwoods but by the volcano fly to the other mountain where you'll see wet ground that looks black and there will be brontosaurus and there will be 3 but beware of raptors, carnos. And rexes.

I found their spawning grouds on Ark mobile they spawn in groups of 3

Taming Equus? Just riding and feeding carrots.

Sounds easy but.THEY ALWAYS SPAWN NEAR PREDATORS.

You trap it in a pen and get a carrot crop. Mount it and feed it carrot. But even if you don’t need a saddle to ride it, you will still need the saddle for making lassos for capturing small creatures. Especially archaeopteryx, those are a nightmare to tame unless you immobilize it. If you don’t have carrot crop, consider gathering jungle ferns and stuff it in a fridge or preserving bin.

Best begonner tame of all time. Rush to level 10 by making cloth hats then tame one of these asap. They have great carry weight and collect berries better than a parasaur!

There is a lot if the equus on the valguero map. But there is also a lot of deions and allos there to. Be careful

When taming make sure to wear full ghillie armor and have carrots in your 0 spot on hot bar go behind it crouch and feed it a carrot which will enable you to ride it from there keep an eye on your lower right hand corner it will indicate to you when to press e to feed it

For mobile, when you taming this guy if you felt or getting knocked out by this horse. The taming effectiveness decreases for the next taming to same equus. To make it 100% or whatever to get maximum...

You need to make him unconscious with trunk than try to tame him again you see taming effectiveness is maximum now. It's helpful when you taming this guy high lvl (150+) with rockarrot no bulm. Coz I tried dumb 180 with rockarrot no bulm

Equip Tools then go out and collect resources while in horseback! Very useful if you are in Ragnarok Highlands, tame a few Equus then use them as mules! They also make Taming other creatures easy since you can kite them from horseback as well!
