Only possible way to tame: spawn one on the shore. Feed it normally, baiting it occasionally to get it's attention. You may get electrocuted. Alternative, but stupid method: lead one to the shore, then tame.

Thes guys always come around when I'm at the lowest health and just piss me off by going straight for me even if there is another player right god damn next to me

Use a kapro to grab and hold have a friend who hasn't technically attacked it feed the toxins. Very simple to tame. Just find a high level away from a pack.

if you bring one tamed by more of them the others will attack your tame

They take roughly 10 seconds to recharge. Jump off your Basilosaurus and quickly feed biotoxin.

Good tip ride a basilosaurus they can't shock you if you are on a basilosaurus

There is a way to cheese them on mobile:

Any electrophorus can be tamed without struggle because you do not need to dismount to feed it and they will ignore you as long as you're mounted which means you don't need to worry about them attacking you(I've done this already)

I think this works with the basilosuarus because the creatures following it should ignore you(I haven't tried this yet though)

Use a Basilosaurus And if u have god console It’s gonna be easy Cuz u Can Get the Bio Toxin From the God Console Menu Thing(don’t knock it out Cuz It’s A Passive Tame)

How do you get close enough to passive tame this thing

I found the best way to tame is get a bassi and try to get one stuck between a wall and your tame.

Try using Homemade Fish Traps to tame it but be careful, you could also just tranquilize it tho.

Bring land/water mount with decent speed. Draw Phorus to land and get completely out of water. Phorus will immediately lose interest, upon which it will turn it's back. Quickly jump in water and feed. Repeat as necessary. NOTE: Phorus wouldn't begin charging until it saw me, making guerilla feeding easy

They are so easy to tame. Just kill jellyfish then go find one with icthy and hit a amonite then wait and swim around and boom you found one (or mosa:)) if this helps hit arrow pointing to the top of your screen.

First take a itchthy and use it to tame electrophoresis it will not attack itchthy

Tame a dolphin.

Then get around 40 meat or 30.

Then just swim around them [btw make sure the meat is in the hot bar] they won’t attack you I tested it.

Tap the meat when it is hungry do it until tamed

Ka boom now you have an electrophorus

You can ride an ichty and the eels wont agro you. So you can tame them and not be attacked. Also other wild water Dinos wont agro you too, try it its useful!

Tip: NEVER TAME THESE WITH BIO TOXIN! If you eat the bio toxin on accident, you will faint and die of suffocation and/or creature attacks. You will probably eat it on accident, so don't tame these with bio toxin.
