Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a electrophorus? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a electrophorus.
To tame it you need a basliosaurus to be immune to the eletric shocks then feed it biotoxin (form cindarias) then you have alternative cindaria
You need a few bio and a basilo
Just tamed two on official. I built a small 2x6 box with a Dino gateway out of stone. Park my Dino nearby, then swim with flippers to gain aggro. Kited 4 into box, and i escaped through doorframes. 2 somehow got out through a hole in the ceiling before i could patch it. After a death and some shit, it's was super easy to feed them biotoxin without getting shocked. The stone walls protect you fully. I don't see an easier way if you build your own right.
It says they are not volient but they killed my five icthyuarsuars they are easy to tame 1. Kill jelly fish * they are annoying to kill * 2. Find a eel * they are bested fived near the. Bottom blue wall barrer * 3. Keep your games thing alive * becuase megalondons try to kill it and manats *
Taming these guys are good for if you want to tame something like a Dunkleosteus or Mosasaur
Build a double sided pen on ocean shelf. Riding an ichy, lure the eel close to the pen. Ride ichy into one side and close door. Once the eel moves into other side, close door trapping it inside. Once it starts poking its head out, feed it till tamed. You may die a few times until you master this technique.
EXTREMELY easy tame. Simply grab an itchy (bc there fast) and tame one with bio toxin. Don’t hit it bc it’s a passive tame. Just feed it, go to the surface for oxygen and repeat till it’s tamed. **NOTE : be extremely careful while feeding it, make sure you don’t eat the bio toxin bc you will be knocked out and drown**
On mobile I tamed one by luring it to the surface and getting out of the water then going back when it got hungry and feeding it raw meat. Easy take looks nice and if you take a pack of them you can knock out even a MOSA take as many as you can!!
These are found in the really deep sea…..
If you’re trapping them in a trap for other creatures too, be advised they can get through really small holes, even windows.
So we tame a 110 plesi then go to get pearls and oil from underwater caves then a group of eels come out of nowhere and stun it. Since we couldn't do anything, it died. Then to our luck that day, a squid comes behind us and we die too and didnt get our stuff back...
A eel in the deep sea…where anglerfish roam in packs with over 4,000 and 2 dunkleostus. A “Electrothorus” is flatter and smaller than the one in this picture
Super easy to tame
Step 1. Find one and get its attention on a mount
Step 2. Back up a bit and jump off your mount
Make sure you don't go to far away otherwise it will go for you, then swim up to it and feed it as it won't attack you but will attack your mount (It's a lot easier then it sounds)
Can be kited easily with flippers into a taming pen. Use a Dino gateway for entrance, and door frames for player exit. Stone walls will protect you from shock attack.
Best way to tame these guys if your on mobile first tame a itchysauruas
Do it with quest for free saddle then. Just go up to eel and feed it. The eel won’t aggro to you as long as your on your mount
I hate this way of taming. My only tip is that it’s not worth the trouble. It’s only for trolling noobs at south zone 2
Very easy to tame. All you need is a friend, a turtle with high health and a couple good scuba gears. A mount to regain your stamina. You get your friend on the tutle to get it's attention, you wipe out anything else. Once clear, watch it's shock and wait. Between electric shocks, swim in to feed while it does barely 1-2 damage to your friends turtle. May take a little time.
Just passive tame these guys and follow and leave on aggressive there good protesters against predators in ocean cave and the ocean when exploring use basilo to distracted then use bio toxin
I have just tamed one and it was shocking me for hours I am still getting shocked now so ride on a manta they can shock them as well but it’s not a none painful experience to have
In mobile, they can be tame easily just by feeding while riding itchys, they will not aggro you whatsoever. The problem is taking them back to your home water because all the megalodons around the water will aggro on it.I advice to leave where you tame or bring it into a underwater cave and leave it there, and then request it back once you get to safe water.
