When taming these, its easiest on Gen 1. Use Cactus Broth, some sort of flyer, and a crossbow. Make sure to wear Ghillie. Grapple to your flyer and whistle it to where you want to go.. Try to hover above the water, use the cactus broth, and descend slowly into the water. As long as you don't touch them, you should be okay. Keep the Cactus Broth up.

They spawn close to the surface on the east side of the ocean on Fjordur. ~55. 95.

At least on Xbox if you have walls underwater they almost always get stuck because they are so fast, use gates for underwater pens for them

Whip out that turtle and let him tank hits, you can also lure them to the surface and build a lil cage on shore to trap tame them.

Ever since these guys we’re added along with the Cnidaria, the ocean has been such a pain to explore. I was out minding my own business. I had my scuba set and was going to the snow biome of the island to get silica pearls. These bastards shocked my lvl 130 Megalodon with 7k health and killed it. Never underestimate these guys. These bastards are a combo of the Cnidaria and get Troodon. Rip lvl 130 Megalodon.

I'm not sure, by I think that if you want these you can use bug repellent to make them not agro.

Only possible way to tame: spawn one on the shore. Feed it normally, baiting it occasionally to get it's attention. You may get electrocuted. Alternative, but stupid method: lead one to the shore, then tame.

Use a kapro to grab and hold have a friend who hasn't technically attacked it feed the toxins. Very simple to tame. Just find a high level away from a pack.

I Just tamed one of these and it got killed by a megalodon

They don’t shock you off of your water mount. Been on megs, plesiosaur, angler fish and basilosaurus and haven’t been shocked off of any of them!

Never try to tame this thing! It is an overpowered tamable Cnidaria
