Easiest way, use gene scanner to locate. You will have to kill it and it will drop an altar, which you can place.

Once the altar is placed at night you will be able to make an offering (which will be creature tributes on the map you are on)

Then you summon it and have to kill it. Repeat this process, for higher levels you will need to do this multiple times. Failure to offer the tribute in time will cause it to spawn alongside the creature relating to what was requested. For example if a Giga heart is required, failure will spawn a Giga. 3+ failures and the altar will be destroyed. One you have completed the ritual, it will spawn tamed. Good luck!

This thing is horrifyingly cool, although you have to pay 5 dollars or euros or whatever to have it. You tame it by killing one and taking the altar in its inventory, and it’s level varies from whatever level you kill. I recommend going near your base because when you place the altar it will ask for a random assortment of apex drops. Keep in mind It has to be night for it to work. If you don’t have what it’s asking for and it’s timer runs down, it will spawn the alpha creature that drops what it’s asking for. After you give it the apex drop it will spawn and you have to kill it within three minutes. If you don’t kill it then it will lose taming effectiveness. Do this a few times and you will have a dreadmare/stallion!(depending on if it is a male or female)

They only can spawn at night but the gene scanner can show you where it will spawn when it turns night to make it easy bring a shotgun and wyv to kill it get the altar and place it but you will need tribute items to summon it and kill it over and over to tame it and you only have 5 minutes to get whatever it needs

Always gather your tributes first before taking. Stock pile because high levels take multiples.

If you are looking for the vertebrae on scorched, take a Thylo and kill a titan. They drop them. If it’s not on your thylo, you must collect the bag.

Keep in mind, if a tribute is able to be gotten on the map it can ask for it. I tames a 300 on scorched and it wanted alpha deathworm tribute, not once but 2 times. Don’t use the altar at your base because your map difficulty and the level are f the Dreadmare directly impacts the level of the missing tribute creature that is spawned in.

One last note, think phoenix trap when using the altar. 1 foundation double door frames 4 high each side with 3 hatch frames starting at the top coming down. This will keep it from flying everywhere making it harder to hit.

The newest creature.If you don’t give it the apex drop it wants it will spawn whatever the apex drop is from as a level 150.For an example if it wants a giga heart and you don’t give it one it will spawn a 150 giga😬

In easy words, kill a Dreadmare, usually spawns around sunset/night. Get the altar from its inventory and place it. ONLY USABLE DURING THE NIGHT!! One the altar is placed, make sure that you have the five dollar fantastic animals pack for it. The altar will ask for any kind of item, including giga hearts, carno arms, Megalania toxin, and similar items to that. Once you give the item, it will spawn the dreadmare again. Kill it, and proceed to give it the next item and continue that process until it is fully tamed. There is a timer, however, and if you do not obtain the item within that time period, the animal that is requesting for along with the dreadmare, will spawn. For example, if it is asking for a giga heart, it will spawn a giga along with the dreadmare. Whatever level dreadmare you were attempting to get, is the level of animal that will spawn. For more information, you have to kill the dreadmare between three minutes after it spawns, and same goes with the animal if you do not get the item the altar is requesting. After you get it, there are multiple abilities in which you have along with gliding like a griffin, a black hole in which pretty much cryopods and animal and it’s inventory, and multiple long-distance attacks. It is an extremely good PVP animal and I would suggest it fully. For more tips, just ask.
