The Doedicurus is typically tamed by carefully using tranquilizers on its head or exposed underside, pausing when it curls into a ball, then feeding it preferred kibble or crops while maintaining its torpor. It is an excellent stone gatherer, and improving its melee damage and weight makes it more effective at harvesting and transporting materials, especially when carried near rocks by a flyer. When encountered, remember that it greatly reduces incoming damage while curled up, so wait for it to uncurl and beware of nearby predators in dangerous regions.
