On Fjordur I was flying to Banaheim (Volcano Island) to get sulfer and next to the sulfer pool was a level 150 and 45 velonasaur attacking a level 140 and 20 doedicuris so after I got my sulfer I left the level 20 for dead and took the level 140 but then I seen a ruin so I tried to fly into it but next to the ruin were 4 basilisks. I killed one but they were attacking the doedic that somehow got under a branch that was the perfect size for a curled up doedic. I kept trying to pick him up but I kept missing so I had to wait for the basilisks to go so I could break the branch and take the doedic. So finally I get back to base and first I try shooting the doedic because I thought he would try to attack me but instead he ran up a 90 degree angled rock and disappeared so I had to relog to my last save which luckily was when I just got to my base so I made a 1 by 1 stone trap with doorframes on the side and spent 5 minutes trying to get him in. Finally when I do I start trancing him but he curls into a ball so I start searching up how to get him out because I didn’t know if there was a way to get him out but every video I watched when they were taking it it never curled into a ball. So I wait until it uncurls and I tranc it again but it curls up so I thought maybe tranc darts will work so I had to make tranc darts and then he curled up again so I just broke the trap because maybe that had something to do with it so when he woke up I tranced him more and finally he got knocked out. I used 70 tranc arrows and 25 tranc darts. Then he took years to tame but finally after an hour and a half I tamed the god forsaken armadillo. I named him Coq and Ball Torture because of this experience

I came here to see if I could find useful information about them but nothing I've already checked where they spawn they're nearby but nothing.
