If you set it to wander it gathers stone then comes back to you right before it gets encumbered, so they autofarm stone basically

The Doedic is one of the most essential Dino's on ark. It's the most important thing when building stone buildings, or other stone structures. The higher the level the better, and weight is essential!

Once you tame one of these guys it’s absolutely amazing first of all for some reason it swims VERY fast! Second of all if you swipe up on the left side of the screen while riding it it’ll start rolling pretty quickly and while it’s rolling it can climb steep slopes for some reason! So… yeah.
