Torpor takes a lot of narcs to increase, even on a lower level, make sure to take plenty.

If it rolls up, walk away until you're out of sight, it'll get up after a few seconds.

This little guy is also really efficient on extinction! It can harvest the benches, lights, and tables for lots of crystal, element dust, and electronics!

Just tried to tranq a level 130 with 100 darts and didn’t fall, it instead froze up and is now just standing in one spot. I don’t know , but this is the first time this is happened to me in all the years of playing ark

Just shot a level 12 doed w 15 tranq arrows in the head, about 2 seconds between each hit... still attacking me, not running away.

I ended up using 35 tranq arrows before it finally fell asleep. The tranq estimates have been so bad lately

These guys reduces Stone's weight by 75%.

A good level doedic can carry weight between 400-600. The one I tamed(wild-270) which is a lvl 390 can carry almost 2600 Stone's per trip.

I knock it out by the tail using tocacated arowes

Make a pen with hatchframe, shoot their belly. If it balled up, cease fire wait it until uncurls. Repeat if needed, boom it's ready for feeding

Only on extinction dose this work but if you pick one up with an argy and have it swing at LAMPPOST and a cannot stress this enough this only works on extinction, that will get element dust.

When it goes into its ball mode, it is regaining it's health and takes reduced damage and torpor. So use boomerang or horse to knock it out they do torpor quick. And when you do get it knocked put spikes around it because it gets targeted by all carnivores.

To tame quickly use an argy and pick up the doedi then place it on your taming pen and make a 1x1 house (if its daytime) and place a sleeping bag inside then sleep and then when you woke up use tranq darts or arrow then make it unconscious and look at the doedi hunger bar if its 0% place a soothing balm (if you have one) then feed it berries or crops (i recommend crops for fast tame) and the taming process will be fast as flash that you didn't even need to wait for hours to tame it, it will just in few minutes to tame and don't even need narcotics (The down side of this technique is the taming effectiveness goes down to 45% so you'll lose 55% of taming effectiveness)

These creature is good for stone but I wish the creator of doedicurus upgrades the rolling of it because it goes in a straight line you can't move it left to right if you ride it and make it roll so I hope they upgrade the rolling control of doedicurus.

Net with netgun before tranqing to stop him balling up saving you darts

Pick it up with an argy and fly by rocks itll hit it on its own and you dont even have to ride it
