More Doedicurus Utility Tips
One of arkβs essential tames alongside the trike (berries), anky (metal), argent (heavy travel), ptera (quick travel & argent taming), and beaver (wood).
Taming even a low-mid level can turn building in stone into an afternoon instead of a weekend. Highly recommended must have dino for everyone.
Survival experts call this "edible"
One cool think I found out is if you carry a tamed one with your Argy, hover over rocks and it will gather stone while being carried.. A damn hovering bulldozerπͺ.. (oh, same goes for Castroides and wood)
These guys might honestly be the best beginner pet. They are a little hard to tame but it is so worth it. To begin, these are great defenders! I live in south zone so this keeps me safe from argys, sabertooths, dilos. They also are great stone collectors, they donβt even need a saddle to collect stone. Let it go on wander and it will collect stone for you and come back right before it gets encumbered.
In crystal isles they get gobs of organic polymer from the giant bee cave up so people know
The Doedic is one of the most essential Dino's on ark. It's the most important thing when building stone buildings, or other stone structures. The higher the level the better, and weight is essential!
Equip your Doedicurus with a saddle, pick it up with an Argentavis and fly near rocks as it automatically harvests the stone as you fly. Level up the melee damage to harvest more stone with each swing. Level up your Argentavisβ weight capacity be an insane stone harvest team.
