If you set it to wander it gathers stone then comes back to you right before it gets encumbered, so they autofarm stone basically

He can Farm Obsidian even better then an Anky but i only now that It works on Nintendo switch (1) and on the Island. ;)

Equip your Doedicurus with a saddle, pick it up with an Argentavis and fly near rocks as it automatically harvests the stone as you fly. Level up the melee damage to harvest more stone with each swing. Level up your Argentavis’ weight capacity be an insane stone harvest team.

They no longer harvest obsidian, just stone. Not sure if they changed it with the new patch, but tried to collect obsidian in the Center with him and all I got was stone.
