He can Farm Obsidian even better then an Anky but i only now that It works on Nintendo switch (1) and on the Island. ;)

If you set it to wander it gathers stone then comes back to you right before it gets encumbered, so they autofarm stone basically

Basic Logic For Basic Materials

Therizinosaurus = General/Fiber

Doedicurus = Stone

Casteroides = Wood

Ankylo = Metal/Flint

Taming even a low-mid level can turn building in stone into an afternoon instead of a weekend. Highly recommended must have dino for everyone.

The new update reduced the weight of stone on this bad boy by 75%

One of ark’s essential tames alongside the trike (berries), anky (metal), argent (heavy travel), ptera (quick travel & argent taming), and beaver (wood).

The Doedic is one of the most essential Dino's on ark. It's the most important thing when building stone buildings, or other stone structures. The higher the level the better, and weight is essential!

Me: So you can harvest the most stone out of any method, take a quarter of the weight, but can’t break stone walls…

Doedicurus: Yes.

Equip your Doedicurus with a saddle, pick it up with an Argentavis and fly near rocks as it automatically harvests the stone as you fly. Level up the melee damage to harvest more stone with each swing. Level up your Argentavis’ weight capacity be an insane stone harvest team.

They no longer harvest obsidian, just stone. Not sure if they changed it with the new patch, but tried to collect obsidian in the Center with him and all I got was stone.
