How to get dodo eggs easily

1. Tame a bunch of dodos (pretty easy even for noobs)

2. get a fence and put them in there (dodos are carryable)

3. Get ready for a tidal wave of eggs

If you have never cared for a baby Dino before tame a few of these breed them and try and care for the baby. Realest this until you get better. I used this as practice before I hatched my forst strong dino

Tame high level giga, set it to passive and then unclaim it

Then get your giant dodo and kill that giga

Dodos are a quick and easy tame, they can be a companion in the harsh ark, or you could weaponize them by upping their movement speed, or strapping explosives to them or infecting them with swamp fever and setting them lose in an enemy base

Had a very populated cave on center, it was so bad that my game froze and lagged really bad. So I got really high above it with a quetzal and stamped c4 to a few dodo's and that was the end of that.

Despite what a lot of people will have you believe, dodos are easily one of the most useful and underrated tames in the game. Not only are they quick and easy meat (or prime meat if you have a tamed seagull shoulder pet) but they make basic kibble, which is easy to produce and satisfies all tames hunger. Use them to feed the pigs for the best mass healing. Also, if you are crossbow taming something with low health/torpor, and a high death risk, you can sacrifice a dodo to heal it on the fly. This let'you go much farther without having to waste engram points and resources on a longneck and bullets/tranks.

Find a male and a female. Breed these to get bigger dodos. Any extra eggs laid, eat them or make a kibble.

Once I decided to try getting a few fancy looking mutant dodos, I ended up with about 20 dodos before giving up and they can from experience take down a pack of raptors😳

This bird is great for beginners but the only thing is that they don’t have that much health or damage but still great for beginners

If u are trying to tame a carnivore make sure there’s dodos around for meat if u don’t have a lot

Serious tips: Dodos can use there eggs to make kibble, Dodos are actually helpfull early gane if you tame a few at the low level beaches they can help against attackers, Breed dodos in mass and upgrade health and damage (or speed and make super speed dodos) and breed you can make pretty strong dodos after the 3rd generation that can fight Dilo's (not really smart when your past level 10) and finally there good bait, you can use them as sacrifice when getting chased or use them as a bait to kill or tame dinos (even boss creatures if you bring loads of the things)

Good distractions for killing stronger stuff, I once killed a sarco with cloth armour and a stone hatchet because I used a dodo to distract it from me and attacked it while dodo kept it busy! Level health if used for this job
