Dodos are almost completely useless, but they are great for beginners to get the hang of things. Even if you know this right from the start, a dodo is probably one of the best first tames if you just want a companion to take along. Oh yeah, and they can mate and make eggs, which I'm pretty sure makes food (if you don't hatch it that is).

Tame an army of these guys. Make them attack a predator as you sneak behind it. WARNING: Only works on Dilos.

Recommend having a Dodo Farm for all the beginners, I’ve made my first dodo farm and it hasn't Failed meh In Dodo kibble, speaking of Dodo kibble, Pteranodons love Dodo kibble, if you want an Army of high level 150 Pteranodons, THEN MAKE A DODO FARM, you need 3-12 dodos, A thatch structure (If your Poor) And a Food trough filled with Berry’s. And after that, SHABLOOM Prepare to dominate the server with high level Pteranodons by your side.

For storage you can make them named stuff you want them to hold like: stone, that dodo will hold stones. Otjer names can be their skills ya wanna focus on: melee, youll work on their fighting. The most helpful thing i reccomend is both mix: meleeseed: they hold your seeds and you focus on melee points.

On mobile, you can breed them and you can get huge, rideable dodos that can destroy anything!

HERES a good tip put a transponder on em then c4 alot of health (so it does not die of c4) then release it into your enemy base then watch fireworks!

People say these are useless but they are not. Tame about 5 females and 1 male early game and their eggs will be all the food you will ever need.

On Mobile you can breed dodos to be smaller or larger. I think size 0.75 or lower can be carried on your shoulder while size 2.6 or larger can be ridden. I have not done this, but it does work.

Am I the only one who use them as portable berry refrigerators?

They actually are useful if a base has all their turrets on Dino only strap c4 to one and bam no more turrets

Very useful because they lay eggs every 10-20 minutes.

The eggs of Dodos are really good, when I play I get a dodo first for its eggs and save any meat for taming carnivores

On mobile, these guys eggs will help you tame the two first sea and sky you'll probably get, which are the Icthy and the Ptera

If you want a kamikaze dodo then strap c4 to it. If you want a death dodo then go for a bunch of low levels and pump all points into damage. I ran around the beach one-shotting everything.

For ark mobile players ------- tame one male and a few females mate them and hatch the eggs now claim the babies and kill them and harvest them with a spear pick or a spike u will get early game prime meat 10000%

The dodo is an excellent starter tame. Not only are they easy to tame and breed, the females also lay eggs frequently! Ideally, you should have mainly females and a few males for breeding. Also, the dodo is one of the only creatures that will not attack you if you steal it’s egg in the wild.

Tame 3+ of these pump carry weight and load up with common light items fiber, thatch, hide etc it will hold more than a large chest while only taking the space of a small plus you can move them easily

You can use these to give swamp fever to other people in pvp

What size does a dodo need to be to ride it in mobile? I think it is 2.5 but do not know.

Everyone ark is rigged dodos are bigger than compys but dodos lay extra small eggs and compys lay small eggs how does compy that is smaller than the dodo lay bigger eggs? Ark pls respond
