Ok this is both a taming tip and a caring tip. So I know dodos are thought to be useless but they are actually good to have. For example I made a enclosure (nothing fancy safe but simple) and I put a TON of tamed dodos in there and let them walk around. Every day I go in there clean there dodo lol and collect there eggs. yes eggs! This can give you a almost endless supply of kibble it is amazing! And all you have to do to take care of them is put like 3 berries in their inventory when you start and make shure they have 3 to 5 berries in there inv at ALL times. If you want to tame a dodo u just need to fined one and knock them out with ur fists just make shure u have berries on hand! Like so noobies can see (I don’t at all mean noobies in a bad way btw)

Knock out with fists once knocked out feed some berry’s try not to use a bow with trank arrows or else it might die

Ok, I’m serious, if you take one and keep leveling it up to past 150ish and keep upgrading melee and hp, it’s really good for pranks and even for it to help you kill stuff

You'll need 10 behemoth metal gates, 150 shocking tranquilizer darts with a long neck rifle and to tame 50 extraordinary kibble then you have the strongest Dino in the game.

Just punch it out then put mejo then wait

So alot of players don't know this but the dodos aren't passive tame because it teaches new players how torpor taming works (keep in mind how the lystrosaurus is a beginner passive tame so we don't need another one)

This is a very hard a complicated taming process. First u must knock out the dodo. Second u must feed the dodo. Third u must beware of other dodos nearby in case they kill u. Once your dodo is tamed simply throw him into your thatch hut and now you have someone to talk to when the cold nights creep over yous. Beware dodos are very chatty

you can easily knock out a dodo with your fists. feed it about 15 berries and let the bar go up. then use your dodo to fight small dinos like dilos or other dodos. (btw if you turn on aggressive mode they will kill everything even if you are trying to tame it)

Literally just punch it and grab them berries them you have a new deadly friend
