If you get the taming dodo challenge, don't do it. You need to wait. It is more of a test of strength to see how many animals you can tame. You should start out taming a raptor then get a Rex and as many as possible. U need to be ready to lose a lot of you animals in the fight. Most likely all of them. Use a bat when it is low enough health (probably after your animals are dead.) Then wack him. You will probably die a few times before you’ve got it but u will get it.

Dododex should add the amount of rockets it takes to knock out, I shot around 600-ish at a level 4 from my 508% ascendant launcher before it located my tek base and wiped it with plasma breath. Some people say it only takes like 200 for a level 10, but I don't know who to trust anymore?

When hatching an Egg make sure to feed it right away as it has low health and low food it will constantly need food. Do this for a few miutes and it should be able to survive longer with less food. Once the healthbar stops going down you're good to go. Just make sure they are safe and feed because they can only carry 5 berries in baby stage.

Taming this guy is probably the easiest thing in Ark. Punch it a few times, but be careful not to kill it lol. Feed it some berries or crops(berries best). There u go.
