These guys are not only a good starter tame, they also have 2 more utilities. They are technically the best distraction tame

(tames that are sacrificed to save the owner's life). They can be be used to escape carnivores such as Dilos, Rexes, ecc.

They are the best distraction tames because they are the easiest ones to tame, and they are also common.

They are also an early-game kibble source.

How to play dodo ball:

1. Get dodo.

2. Make a 1x1x1 box with no ceiling. Make a door to retrieve dodo.

3. Your objective is to chuck the dodo into the box.

4. You can't hurt your own tames, so you can punch it around the place. I haven't actually tried dodo ball, but it seems fun.

5. Make your own rules. Bring in tames. Allow killing. Something like that.

NEVER ATTACK IT IN BRUTAL. He will destroy you and your tames with is army of dodo lvl 450.

I bred up aberrant ones on fjordur in vanaheim, we set up our mutated lag army on the tree branches above some guys base and whistled forward

250 glowing dodos fell into their base, 1 guy was so in shock and pain because of the scene and lag (also it was at night so the glowing dodos glowed) but the other guy was in heaven as he was a dodo worshipper

Alright since everyone’s tips are saying they are dangerous they’re actually not. I’m not joking at all and being serious. I got four max levels. They can defend you from small threats you’ll likely to face early game like a weak lone sarco a few compies or a small dilo pack. But not something like a rex or a giganotosaurus or 7 raptors at the same time. Punch the like so beginners see.

Great food store for very early game. Tames have a 4x slower spoil rate for food in their inventory so knock one out, call it Fridge and store berries and meat in it. Can be carried too!

If you're ever stuck on a hostile server, you can hide and tame/breed these in mass numbers. Either you will reach the tame limit, or cause serious lag for your captors

U can actually ride these or have shoulder pets in ark mobile
