Dodos are way under rated. In case you don’t know, when you first start playing Ark a high enough level Dodo can kill you. And if a dodo’s Dodo Scale is 2.00 or more you can ride it. It does not need a saddle and this works on Mobile too.

One time a sarco came to my base and attacked me and my 3 Dodo. I come back about 3 minutes later to one Dodo, completely unbiased. I check it's inventory and I see sarco skin. My dodo, not high level, killed a sarco all by itself, with minimal effort.

Dodo arkdex entry: easy tame for early game and perfect for beginners...people say Dodos are scary but trust me I was able to tame a high level one in OFFICIAL it was just too easy... don't believe Others or you'll regret it...

If you want to breed them you could put a male and a female in a wooden cage and put them on wander. It will take a while but after dome time the female will lay a fertilized egg.To get it you could open the cage door and the dodos will walk out.

Hit once with a sword to knock it out and feed it cooked meat which is the only thing that it will eat. You will have a tamed dodo in 3 to 4 hours.
