Funny how Helena has a pet Dodo and yet she calls this the dumbest creatures in ARK’s history

When taming a dodo you need to be very careful because its one of the most dangerous dinos in the game when i tamed it this is what is used :

10 Metal gateways

3 beartraps

Good longneck with about 350 tranq darts

Fully imprinted giga to lure it into the trap

Up if u think that dodos are god and down if u kill everything in sight

Easy meat and egg source nice tame for mainly those reasons

Good for storage, when you get an army of them you can really destroy a t-rex with them no joke

Pro tip: be careful this is the most powerful creature in ark (it litrually killed my giga coz i didnt allow him to move or attack)

Tame a huge one(at least 3.0x size) and equip a “Dodo Decimation Bit” onto it. Ultimate raiding device. Can destroy Tek.

Here’s 3 geat things you can do with them:

1: Strap bombs to their beak and direct them to an enemy base

2: Make an army and give them really high melee damage

Tame every dodo you find and station them outside your base

3: Make a fake base out of thatch to make enemies think you’re a noob, and fill it with dilos, dodos, and other nasty beasties. Watch with a bow from afar and shoot ‘em if they try to run

There are 2 good ways I use these birds kibble and putting them near my door inside my house on aggressive that way if someone raids they'll kill it telling me the raiders name so I can get pay back.

If you are going for quick tame instead of quality the dodo prefers the amar berry it gives the fastest tame in my experience.

new people beware while they may look weak they one shot king titans you will need 10000000000000 darts they are the best but almost impossible to tame

Run from it if encountering it can one-shot you in flak armor with 300 HP, RUN!

These little guys are very useful when used as a suicide bomber. First, strap it with c4. Next, throw it where want it. Finally, watch your enemies die to suicide bomber dodos.

the scary-est thing I’ve encountered. be prepared and get wyverns to attack it before it comes for you. (I’m being sarcastic you just need a dilo to kill it or something, it’s passive so if you want to tame it just punch it or knock it out with a bat and feed it berries.)

Don't underestimate the usefulness of Dodos. They are great for early game basic kibble. Just put them in a breeding pen and hope they don't die.

Knock it out then tame (takes alot of hits to knock out)
