One day on the island There was an update that had these words in it "added lvl 1 dodo, anyone it comes by it lays a egg, spawns ONLY on dead island". I go with ascended tek gear and ascended tek giga (high lvl giga with tek saddle) and went. There it was, and there was its egg. I stole its egg and I died. The message was "op mascot was slain by a very, fierce dodo." Same for the giga. Same happened when I tried murdering him. Later my friend says it has infinite stats. I learned the dodo, is super OP OP OP OP OP
More Dodo Funny Tips
We have a dodo named after one of our buddies who refuses to get ARK. It is a ritual to punch him everyday on our way out of the base.
I have played 200 hours of ark and I have never fought a more feirce and terrifying animal do not engage with these rabid monsters
Make sure to tame a bunch of dodos and max them out in the levels and upgrade melee and health when leveled up and then you can kill the annoying raptors that killed you and guarded your stuff when you first started.
These are the most dominant species on ark they will devastate anything in their path. Be weary when engaging such a beast.
Had a dodo named frank that I resurrected twice only for and ankylo to kill. I was very sad so I killed the ankylo, one up for frank
