When fighting the fearsome dodo never go head on. I know from experience that dodos in a pack a hit hard took my 150 perfect tame giga out lost it to a lvl 1 dodo. Beware they are some of the most fearsome Dino's on the island. My tip to you is to only encounter from afar with ranged weapons such as rocket launchers. The best way I have found is to drag it out into a body of water, but beware they swim really fast, but get under then a pike with several friends.

We have a dodo named after one of our buddies who refuses to get ARK. It is a ritual to punch him everyday on our way out of the base.
I have played 200 hours of ark and I have never fought a more feirce and terrifying animal do not engage with these rabid monsters
Step 1:Tame dodo
Step 2:Get it to level 150
Step 3:switch between health and melee dmg upgrades
Step 4:Throw and tell it to attack an unsuspecting victim
Step 5: Laugh as they die to a dodo
These are the most dominant species on ark they will devastate anything in their path. Be weary when engaging such a beast.

If you see one of these...RUN! RUN LIKE THE WIND!!! Running will give you the best chance of surviving against these monsters, all though even if you run it will still easily catch up with you, k!lling you with no problem...........
Endgame Dino. I highly suggest taming with a tribe itβs melee is very strong and has a high range. If u manage to somehow get one you can destroy the alpha tribe with ease. Goodluck though.
When you encounter a dodo, do not look into its eyes! Slowly back away, pray to the dodo gods, and hope it didn't put you on its list of things to murder today.
