Hardest tame in the game!
1. Be at a distance and make sure you have a longneck with shocking tranq darts in it, and a very fast animal or flyer in case things go south
2. Shoot it with shocking tranq darts, make sure you have plenty of traps lined up as well and you WILL need other tribe mates
3. Get a tone of narcotic and you need tons of raw prime meat, you will need to kill things for raw prime meat while the dodo is sleeping
4. It will wake very quick so be ready to run just in case
5. If all goes according to plan, you now have the most powerful creature in ark!
More Dodo Funny Tips
We have a dodo named after one of our buddies who refuses to get ARK. It is a ritual to punch him everyday on our way out of the base.
I have played 200 hours of ark and I have never fought a more feirce and terrifying animal do not engage with these rabid monsters
Make sure to tame a bunch of dodos and max them out in the levels and upgrade melee and health when leveled up and then you can kill the annoying raptors that killed you and guarded your stuff when you first started.
These are the most dominant species on ark they will devastate anything in their path. Be weary when engaging such a beast.
Had a dodo named frank that I resurrected twice only for and ankylo to kill. I was very sad so I killed the ankylo, one up for frank
