Wild dodo: Fighting is never an option, we’ll die way too easily. If a fight happens it’s better to search for a safer location (i.e. fleeing). Hopefully if a predator attacks a human can kill it and spare our lives.
Tamed dodo: I will do anything for my master. The flock’s job is never to surrender. It is forever and always to heed the call. The reason so many dodo’s have fallen before me is simple: there is a calling, a need for a mega-flock, to ensure survival. Only then, will we become couraged enough to put up a fight. The reason we die one-by-one - day-by-day - night-by-night is because together we stand, yet divided we fall. We must all come together and rebel against these predators. Only herbivores must remain. Problem is, though, once that happens, we’ll need to find a way to divide the food evenly across all remaining species... So, that’s complicated.
Zomdodo: SQWAK, BRAINS. SQWAK, BRAINS. SQWAK, BRAAAAAINS!!

It was utter chaos: feathers were flying everywhere as if a tornado had ripped through a chicken farm. And the pecking! Oh god the pecking! Everything went black. When I woke again, I was laying next to a bloody mound of something resembling...a person? And sitting right next to it, was that same little bird quizzically staring at me. When it realized I was awake, it squawked and threw up it's wings. And then, an ungodly sound emanated from behind a nearby bush...
