Bruh! These are possibly the most versatile tame in the game! They’re fast, strong, can carry quetz weight, do more damage than a Rex, and just look friggin dope. My low level at 1,600 hp took on a 27,000 hp alpha carno and THEN took on a 10,000 hp alpha raptor; all without losing half it’s hp. The best tame in my opinion! They start with terrible hp (like 400 at low level), but if you hold down the attack, then they do double attacks. Peace out ✌️

Use these guys to collect fiber. Just walk over to a bush, and start chowing down, they give more than a sickle and it's about THREE TIMES FASTER!!! So if you don't have a therizinosaurus yet, use this guy.

Bears are perhaps the best bodyguards for protecting in-progress tames without needing to stick around and babysit the whole process. Their main advantage for this role (compared to other powerful tames) is that almost EVERYTHING aggros them, even the measly dilophosaur.

Station a few bears in strategic locations around your KO, then sit back and relax knowing that any predators that come by will attack - and promptly get demolished by - your bear brigade.

Riding them gives you hypothermic and hyperthermic insulation. Like an otter.

These things are MONSTERS! They can tear through caves as long as they can fit. On mobile I took him to the hunter cave and DEMOLISHED everything. They are also pretty good and chitin gathering. Just one sweep through the cave I got 1000+ chitin.

Tamed a couple max levels, breed them, leveled, bred some more, leveled more, mass breed for mutations, then got a 10/10 mutations 20 on melee and 20 on health for boss fights, named the original yogi, he slaughtered everything, then got killed instantly by the alpha ice Titan on fjordur

Super easy to came just bring 10-20 prime meat (depends what level ur Dire is) the beast will get tamed up in less then 30 minutes. This beast gathers hide,fiber,berries,meat like it’s nothing. Hits like a mother trucker. Insane speed. Literally take this beats asap once you unlock its saddle.

Tame a high level (140-150) and go kill some alphas. My direbear is level 265, 33.4K health and 500% melee

Can't gather honey on crystal isles bee hives.

Mine killed a Giga by biting its legs (it was imprinted, had 9.2k hp, mastercraft saddle and 800% dmg)

It can’t be caught in a Bear Trap but it can in a Large Bear Trap

They have created many a murder scene for me: dead terror bird carcasses and a direbear walking away. No witnesses just a theory

Bears make an excellent mount for exploring caves. If you can get about 3 high level ones you and other tribemates can explore through most caves with ease. And if you were to get in trouble these bears can run at high speeds so you can escape most predators.

- Great DMG (Paw smash deal a high dmg, same as his bite attack)

- Easy meat, hide, fiber, fruits gathering.

DEFINITELY OP CREATURES AT MID / LATE

The Dire Bear is the most versatile mount in the game as they are small enough to fit in all caves. Their alt attack is also above that of a Rex, and with their sprint being comparable to a gallimus nothing will get away.

These are insanely fast at top speed

Great tame for starters tryna explore the snow area because it can keep you warm and can defend you pretty well

This creature is so underrated

FIBER MACHINE I use this guy to gather all the bushes in the area and BAM over 5 stacks of fiber also can wreck alpha raptors and carnos which give decent loot And can get up to the 1000s in weight level that up And you have all the metal any time any where
