No-one really uses these- they are so underrated. I’m planning on taming a few as my terrestrial tanks. Tbh, I’m surprised something with this much power is so looked over

A 3x3 and 1x door frames all round and you’ve got a good trap if you can try and feed it a dead body

Very good jack-of-all trades midgame tame. Good berry and fiber gatherer with lots of carry weight and enough health and damage to defend you and itself

Please make these able to be ridden in all the caves!

Use a large bear trap and when it is trapped use grenades, cattle prods or use an assault or longneck rifle or a fabricated sniper rifle

You can tame a high lv without rock,I tried it,it works

Best way to tame these is to build a little 2x2 stone fence foundation square, a stone Dino gate at one end a stone doorway at the other and fill the rest with stone window frames. Lure it in the gateway, run our the doorway, tranq safely through the window frames

A must have on aberration,

Gather 3x honey, gather fiber, berries, normal and prime meat, and wood/thatch.

But…

It has insane speed to help keep you safe from nameless, and (probably) OUTRUN A ROCKDRAKE. Get your first egg with a dire bear and have megalosaurus or spino bodyguards if you like.

There is a polar bear type that can be found in the cave. YOU CANNOT tame them. But in ragnarok you can find Polar Dire Bear that are tameable. Or atleast on the server used.

Change Dire bears skkin in the new one.

Name it Baloo, collect 5k fiber in a few... boost speed and weight if you want it to collect fiber. Boost Melee and health if you want a fighter, obviously.

While breeding this creature is not as difficult as others, There's an easier way to do it. When it is born I advise you feed it raw meat until it hits juvenile stage, after that point fill up troughs and the bears inventory with mixed berries, since this creature is an omnivore it can eat berries. Using berries until it is fully adult will ensure that it's food source does not spoil as quickly as raw meat can. Good Luck!

For me these are impossible to tame without a trap

Dire bears are super OP.I was just going to a beaver dam to get some cementing paste for my secondary metal base when I saw a level 25 spino with over a thousand health run from a level 5 dire bear with 680 health.Also the other day I was hunting some dire bears for pelt for my fur armor set but a level 40 dire bear with only 890 health killed me.it killed me so fast that I couldnt even hit it with my ascendant sword that deals 200 damage per hit.i recommend if you hunt with longneck rifle or bow/crossbow when you hunt them,never EVER confront them face to face... that is,unless you have a death wish.

One of the few omnivores in the game. Can eat meat and berries so feeding it is never an issue. Plus you can force heal by making it eat raw meat.

Dire bears have the same base torpor and torpor gain per level as an allosaurus, meaning darts are almost a requirement (unless of course narco traps are utilised). To put this in perspective, Allos have 63% more base health than a dire bear and gain more health per level, and even with a lvl 150 allo there is still a 1.5% chance that they’ll die for a 100% damage Crossbow. In summary, use darts, it makes it a hell of a lot easier.

Does anyone know if a single person on a pyromane that has 8k hp and 450% melee can solo the spirit dire bear and wolf on Ragnarok?

Guys you need Big THICK BEAR .They hit like a trucks level up some hp and they have like 8000hp speed ass a spino (if it's build up) and plus they are Cute

Dire bears are godly tanks they can take on turrent bullets and they do insane damage i recommend this guy for mid game pvp.
