Torpor is not verry fast on my 130 I am tamming

If you're unlucky enough to have one aggro on you get in a door frame cage or get on a flyer FAST because they gain speed over timeif your hunting them just use a door frame cage at least stone

When breeding you can feed newborns honey - they eat it roughly every 47 seconds it weighs 0.1 and has a 1hr 20 min spoil time so it’s great for getting them to juvi or at least mass berry stage.

I used an apprentice longneck rifle with darts on a level 130 bear. No problems at all. He still had 1800 health out of 2400 when he fell. Awesome mount :)

If you sprint in flat land such as redwoods they will slowly gain speed higher and higher which is also realistic because some modern bears will have bluff charges in which they will charge at you as soon as they see you to test your aggression towards them and then they will stop before you and if you’ve hurt them then or anyway before then or showed any other signs of aggression they may attack or run. Usually run. But in humans case usually attack.

For a dire bear when I tranq them normally they die so I put down lots of narco traps make it run through them , so it's torpor is high then I start to tranq it

Your unfortunate encounter with them is their fortunate dinner with you

You have to wait for a couple of seconds if ur using tranq arrows

These guys are definitely impossible to tame without a trap so I heavily recommend making one

And also you should try to use darts because arrows have an increased chance to kill it but if you are using arrows get a few tamed dodos and when it’s low but still aggressive put one in and it will start regaining health when it eats it

Can gather fiber fast by running and attacking at the same time. In mobile, increase your sensitivity a bit so you can turn around faster. If inventory full, just throw away some berries and you're fine.

My lvl 30 tame has very nice stats for a low level. Tanky, great dmg, and faster than avg raptor imo.

Excellent for fibre, berries and is extremely fast ,deals high damage and on top of that is dubiously cute and adorable ( sits down like a baby )

And waves at you when levelled up.

Best way to tame a bear is using darts to knock it out and feed honey. Adds 7.0% taming with out useing balm

You can use the 4 gate trap to tame it.

Apparently giant bee honey doesn't work taming bears. Tried in abberation and wouldn't take as taming food once ready to tame.

My friend darted a low level because we are starting on aberrations. His longneck broke before he started running so I did the only thing I could think of... I jumped at it with a shield and a club. Let’s just say I was a distraction so he could go get a new rifle, would not recommend

Really op and fast can take on alphas once i toook an alpha rex with ntg like a scratch leveling them up is easy because high damage

Normal tranqs will work if you’re high enough level to withstand its attacks. I shot it until it was too low life to live through another arrow and simply waited for it to run. (I shot it every time it’s life was high enough to be hit again) tames with veggies (I used carrots)

While sprinting it goes faster running through a bunch of bushs spaming the gather button you will collect tons of fiber with this tank gathers all sorts of things a must have tame for multipurpose playing breeding them ang imprinting just makes them the better all around mount

Starve tame it for about 15 minutes and with about 8-14 mutton, it will tame
